Don’t look now, but the 2026 Lunar New Year Festival at Disney California Adventure is already here! We’re so excited to party, and we’re going to give you all the details on everything this festival has to offer you.

This year, the celebration will run from January 23rd through February 22nd. At least…that’s what we thought. We just went to Disney California Adventure, and the festival has started EARLY. So, we’re trying out all the food and drinks, checking out the entertainment, and taking a glance at the merchandise — and we’re taking you with us!

FULL MENUS ANNOUNCED for Disney’s 2026 Lunar New Year Festival

This year marks the Year of the Fire Horse, and Disney California Adventure in Disneyland Resort will celebrate its arrival with the park’s annual Lunar New Year Festival!

From January 23rd through February 22nd, 2026, Disney California Adventure will ring in the Year of the Horse with additional cuisine and entertainment offerings (including special Disney Character sightings) and more! Disney just released the FULL MENUS for this exciting event, and our mouths are already watering!

REVIEW: It’s Cute and Popular – But How Does This NEW Disney Treat Taste?

TONS of new treats and drinks dropped in Disneyland last Thursday, January 8th! Of course, we stopped by to try some of the new offerings—like PINK milk!! Yes, there is now a third milk option in Galaxy’s Edge! Plus, we also grabbed a Sweet Heat Beignet Chicken Sandwich, Infinity Cream Puffs, and 9 other new food items. We also really wanted to try another new treat, but by the time we stopped by to grab it, it had already SOLD OUT.

Cast Members said they didn’t anticipate its popularity, so they didn’t make many. We vowed to make our way back — earlier this time — as soon as we could. Well, we have some good news! We stopped by Disneyland this weekend, and we were able to secure this popular treat!

Disney Just Took Away One of Our Favorite Snacks, and We’re Ready to Fight

We’ve got some REALLY sad news out of Disneyland Resort, especially for those who are really big fans of a certain menu item available at Award Wieners!

Film Strip Fries with Beer Cheese

Award Wieners is 100% the place to go in Disney California Adventure if you’re looking for a hot dog, or the iconic Filmstrip Fries. These are basically regular fries, but they’re in a very unique shape — they’re thick and curled a bit, hence the name “film strip.” We’ve got horrible news, though — filmstrip fries are currently OFF the menu and not being served!

3 Limited-Time Snacks Announced for Disneyland

One of our favorite “holidays” in Disneyland Resort at the start of each year is Anaheim Ducks Day, which is a whole day dedicated to the popular Anaheim Ducks Hockey Club.

On Feb. 22, 2026, guests may partake in the Anaheim Ducks Day event at Disney California Adventure park in Anaheim, Calif. This fan and park-goer favorite returns for one day, featuring appearances by select Anaheim Ducks players and Wild Wing, hockey-themed entertainment and activities, photo opportunities and more. This special event happens only one day each year, falling on February 22nd this year, and it’s a great way to experience special photo opportunities, check out exclusive merchandise, meet/see some of the players, and, of course, try out new snacks! Disney just released a sneak peek at three of the new snacks that will only be available during this special day, and we’re pretty pumped about all of them.
