Hi, DFB friends! It’s been quite a week in Disney World.
This week we got a refurbishment update, a surprising character experience, new Star Wars merchandise, and more! Let’s get into it.
Happy Halloweekend from Walt Disney World!
The Halloween season is almost over, so does that mean a lot of people were in Disney World trying to enjoy the last few Boo Bash events and see the pumpkins on Main Street, U.S.A.? We like to keep up with how crowds look in the parks, so let’s take a look at all the average wait times in Disney World from this week.
If you’re heading to Disney World in November, you’re in for an exciting time!
The holiday season kicks off this month in Disney World, with decorations going up, exciting events happening, and more. The weather is pretty mild this time of year compared to the spring and summer months, and *hopefully* we won’t see huge crowds until around Thanksgiving! This makes it an ideal time to visit the parks, especially if you’re ready to get in the holiday spirit. So, let’s talk about the 5 best things to do in Disney World in November!
The Disney Genie service just launched in Disney World, and now you can pay for access to Lightning Lanes (previously known as FastPass+ lanes) for qualifying rides and attractions.
The Genie+ service is $15 per person, per day for over 40 different attractions, but with Individual Attraction Selection (or pay-per-ride) you pay for each ride individually, and the pay-per-ride premium attractions are 8 of the most popular rides in Disney World. So how do you decide which rides to choose? Which rides are worth the extra cost? Well, we asked you, dear readers, to vote for which Individual Attraction Selection rides you would actually pay for!
Disney days can be crazy, with rushing to your favorite ride in the morning, trying to find the shortest lines, and navigating the crowds through the parks.
But we’re going to stop for just a minute and take a moment of Disney zen — because you deserve it. You’ve already made it through the week! Well done. Now take just a second for yourself to listen to the calming sounds of Disney World.
Nine Dragons Restaurant in EPCOT’s China Pavilion is a table-service restaurant known for its wide range of Chinese cuisine, with Cantonese, Mongolian, Szechuan, Hunan, and Kiangche-style dishes all being offered here.
We recently stopped by to try a new 50th Anniversary dessert that’s based on a trendy boba tea drink!

Sure, Disney World is magical and all, but it can sometimes be a little…scary.
We’re talkin’ creepy crown slide (that isn’t around anymore!) and towering Jack-in-the-box level scary. Plus, Disney’s full of hidden details — and that includes chilling ones! If you have kiddos (or if you’re just unsettled by creepy things yourself!), you might want to keep an eye out for the seriously CREEPY things in the parks. Â
From time to time, we spot price increases at restaurants and more around the Disney World parks, and we do our best to let you know about the changes when we see them.
Today, we spotted a small change in EPCOT that wasn’t necessarily a price increase — it was more of a product decrease. But, it will have an impact on just how much bang you’re getting for your buck. Let us explain.
It can be tricky to keep up with all of Disney World’s projects and refurbishments.
Attractions, rides, and hotels might be closed for various reasons around the parks, and you’ll want to know what’s not available during your upcoming trip. We’re taking a look here at everything that will be closed in Disney World next week.
Halloween weekend has arrived, which means that the holidays are — quite literally — right around the corner.
And Disney World is gearing up for the season — we’ve already seen holiday decorations in the parks, we got a sneak peek at some of the holiday merchandise we’ll soon find, and we even have a list of holiday treats we can’t wait to try! And now, we’ve got some details about this year’s gingerbread displays.
