Refreshment Port at EPCOT, near the Canada Pavilion, has been closed for refurbishment for a while now — but we didn’t know why.
Well, we officially do know why now, as it was just revealed that Refreshment Port will reopen as La Poutinerie!
After being closed for over a year, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is finally reopening at Magic Kingdom!
Disney announced that the Wildest Ride in the Wilderness will officially reopen on May 3rd, and we can’t WAIT. The ride will reopen with new elements, scenes, and an expanded storyline we’re excited to experience. Not only that, but Disney revealed that after extensive testing, the height requirement has been lowered! Here’s what we know.
Think you know everything about Disney World? Think again.

Cinderella Castle
There’s a whole world of hidden tricks, little-known perks, and insider strategies that most guests walk right past. From surprise character encounters to scoring last-minute tables at the most in-demand restaurants, and even unlocking discounts that aren’t widely advertised. Disney doesn’t always make these things easy to find… but that’s where we at DFB come in. Get ready because we’re spilling the secrets that can totally change your next trip.
Who doesn’t love eating their way around World Showcase? And the cool thing is that you can get food and drinks OUTSIDE of each pavilion’s restaurants. Many of the pavilions have shops that also feature snacks and drinks from their host countries, too!
Well, one of our favorite spots to shop for such snacks is at Mitsukoshi in the Japan Pavilion. Here, you’ll find LOADS of Japanese treats, and well, we just found some new frozen treats that we HAD to try, although one was actually sweet potato-flavored. Let’s take a look at these treats, and we’ll give you our honest thoughts.
Your next trip to Magic Kingdom might just be a little bit more magical.
We’ve been waiting and waiting to ride one of our favorite roller coasters with a brand new refurbishment, and we finally have the reopening date. Hold onto your hat because we’re about to ride the wildest ride in the wilderness!
Norway doesn’t get nearly enough credit as a snack destination in EPCOT.
Sure, everyone knows about the School Bread and the Lefse, but tucked inside Kringla Bakeri og Cafe is a chocolate chip cookie that honestly might be one of the sleeper hits of the entire World Showcase. We grabbed the Triple Chocolate Chip Cookie for $6.49, and we have some thoughts.
Starbucks just released new drinks that we had to try! Obviously, we headed to Magic Kingdom‘s Main Street Bakery, because coffee tastes better when walking down Main Street, U.S.A.
These two new Starbucks drinks are available nationwide, so you can grab them at your neighborhood Starbucks, too. Spoiler alert – this purple coffee could change your life, too!
When it comes to Disney World’s theme parks, there’s arguably none better known for its dining than EPCOT. From the cross-cultural restaurants of the World Showcase to the park’s annual International Food & Wine Festival, cuisine is arguably its calling card.
However, from our experience, the hardest reservation to get in the park isn’t at a restaurant set in one of World Showcase’s eleven themed international pavilions. In fact, it’s not set on Earth at all.
Sometimes, there are big ride changes like Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, where Disney has given us months to overanalyze every single thing. Other times, Disney pops something up overnight, and it’s a total surprise to us.
When we were in Animal Kingdom recently, we had to ride one of the best roller coasters on property and find the yeti, but in line, we noticed a new change that Disney definitely did not warn us about.
One of Disney’s most POPULAR hotel perks is back… for a limited time!
