Flying to Disney World is about to get even easier for millions.
Frontier Airlines
Thanks to massive tourist destinations like Walt Disney World and the Universal Orlando Resort, Orlando is one of the busiest travel destinations in the world, with millions passing through the area’s airports — mainly Orlando International Airport (MCO) — each year. Now, two of the U.S.’s busiest budget airlines are adding NEW routes into the city.

Sure, you probably know about all the great original TV shows you can watch, including Agatha All Along, which premiered recently (and just in time for witchy season). You might also know about Inside Out 2, which recently came to the streaming platform. Maybe you’re just busy watching classic Disney movies on the service or your kids are watching Bluey. Well, there’s a NEW feature on Disney+ available now that you might not know about.
Over the past few months, there have been a LOT of announcements about what we’ll see coming to Disney World in the coming years.
Magic Kingdom
We know that a new Villains land is coming in the area behind Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and that a new Cars-themed land is coming to Frontierland (replacing Tom Sawyer Island and the Liberty Square Riverboat), a new Villains show is replacing Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy in Disney’s Hollywood Studios and the park is also getting a whole new Monsters Inc. land, DinoLand U.S.A. is officially becoming the Tropical Americas, and so much more. And don’t get us wrong, all of that is exciting, but there’s something coming that NO ONE is talking about and we need to change that — did all of us forget that we’re getting a new nighttime parade?!
Disney Villains are finally starting to get the limelight they deserve (or demand).

As we’re all likely familiar with by now, an entire land dedicated to Disney’s Villains is coming to Magic Kingdom in Disney World. The land is expected to go in the area deemed Beyond Big Thunder, and according to Disney, “preparations are already underway.” However, we don’t yet know when the new land will be opening. On the other hand, and over in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, a new villains show will be debuting, and we just found a new clue!
Name a more iconic section of Disney’s Hollywood Studios and we bet you’ll struggle not saying Toy Story Land!

And we wouldn’t blame you! Who doesn’t love the thought of being shrunk down to the size of a toy and tromping through Andy’s backyard with your favorites like Woody, Slinky Dog, and the rest? Now, theming perfection aside, there is this trend that we’ve noticed with this land at Hollywood Studios in particular, and with so many expansion projects around the corner, we’re concerned it might spread to Disney’s other parks too!
Why settle for only riding SOME Disney World rides when you could ride ALL of them in one trip? Hi there it’s your friendly neighborhood AJ reminding you that even though we always tell you to schedule down time and get your sleep and RELAX when you’re on vacation sometimes it’s just time to grind!

One thing we love about visiting Disney World is that there’s free transportation that takes us pretty much everywhere at the resort.
The Monorail
There are buses, boats, the Skyliner, and OF COURSE, the Monorail. Now, we love taking the Monorail as it’s so convenient if you’re staying in the Magic Kingdom area, but we do think that this classic Disney transportation could use a few updates, so hear us out.
We knew the day was coming, but it it almost time for more construction in the parks.
Sunset Blvd
At D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, we got a ton of news about new offerings coming to all four parks. Magic Kingdom will be getting two new Cars-themed attractions, and they will go in the current place of Tom Sawyer Island and the Rivers of America. Villains Land is also finally becoming a reality and will be built just “Beyond Big Thunder Mountain.” Animal Kingdom will get four new attractions, three in Pueblo Esperanza (the Tropical Americas-themed land), and Zootopia: Better Zoogether! will be a brand new show in the Tree of Life. EPCOT has ongoing construction at Test Track as the ride will open in its third version next year. Now, it is finally time for Hollywood Studios to start work next week. It was announced that the park would be home to a Monsters Inc.-themed land, but there was another announcement that came shortly after D23 wrapped up.
No matter what time of the year you visit, there’s always something going on at Disney Springs.
