Splash Mountain
Sometimes, though, rides close, and that’s the case with Splash Mountain, which will close FOREVER as of January 23rd. Obviously, that means that a LOT of folks are coming to Disney World to ride Splash Mountain one last time.

EPCOT Festival of the Arts
There’s certainly plenty to do this time of year. Sure, Splash Mountain will be closed forever to reopen as a NEW attraction in 2024. But the EPCOT Festival of the Arts is on and you’ll be able to check out all the food booths, activities, and entertainment. But you’ll also need to know about park pass availability for the week, as well as park hours.

The Walt Disney Company is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year!
Lots of 100th merchandise!
A HUGE party will be happening soon in Disneyland with two NEW nighttime shows, special food, and more! We’ve also seen a LOT of 100th anniversary merchandise, some of it a bit on the pricier side. Well, we recently found a NEW 100th anniversary collection for kids — and the best part is that it’s affordable!
In 2020, Disney announced plans for closing Splash Mountain to make way for a new attraction themed after Princess and the Frog. For some time the closure was a vague, far-off date, but in December of 2022 Disney gave us an official closing date for the ride.
Splash Mountain
Tomorrow is the last day for guests to ride Splash Mountain in Magic Kingdom. On January 23rd, the ride will be closed permanently to prepare for the retheming as Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.
One Disneyland spot has CHANGED for a limited time!

Paradise Garden Grill is a year-round snack spot in Disney California Adventure Park, but when festivals come around it often features limited-time eats. That’s exactly what is happening right now with the arrival of the Lunar New Year celebration (which will only last through February 15th, 2023!). Disney’s new live-action version of The Little Mermaid is coming to theaters on May 26th, 2023. And according to a recent casting announcement, it looks like the movie’s princess will be heading to Disney World!

Cinderella Castle
We’re still trying to enjoy all the celebratory fun, including enjoying the gold character statues in the parks, the food, and that gorgeous 50th anniversary Cinderella Castle. Disney also released one FINAL merchandise collection for the anniversary, and the ears from that collection are now in Disney World.
