Disney’s BoardWalk is one of our favorite resorts to visit at Disney World. From the food to the shopping to the vibes, we find ourselves here time and time again, although things haven’t felt quite the same since Jellyrolls closed.

Hurly-Burly
It’s been over a year since the duelling piano bar closed at Boardwalk, and as much as we love the resort, we felt like it needed something for nightlife. Well, the Boardwalk is undergoing a massive change, adding new shopping, dining, and entertainment locations! One thing we’re specifically excited about is the new lounge, Hurly-Burly. However, did you notice the small detail Disney mentioned about it?
Another permanent closure is coming to Universal Orlando, and this time, we’re pretty disappointed.
Universal has announced quite a few closures recently, and while some are for renovations or reimagining, this one is a permanent closure, which means we’re saying goodbye to another attraction.
We love a lot of things at Disney World, but we REALLY love Disney World transportation. We know that, compared to Mickey pretzels and meeting our favorite princesses, transportation might not seem like our favorite thing, but we love how magical it feels!
What we don’t love are closures! But these closures help keep everything running smoothly for the future, so it’s a price we’re willing to pay. A closure has been announced for 2027 and 2028, which could affect which resort you want to stay at.
August was FULL of Disney World news with the 2026 edition of D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, but that wasn’t all!
Throughout the whole month, Disney released news regarding its Orlando theme parks, attractions, hotels, and more, and we’re here to fill you in on EVERYTHING!
The Hurly-Burly is set to open at Disney’s BoardWalk on October 1st. The space is taking over the old Jellyrolls building, and because of that, it has a lot to live up to. Fans were devastated when Jollyrolls closed, and everyone immediately started questioning what would take over the dueling pianos, which had been there for almost 30 years.
While some are excited for the Hurly-Burly and the new food and drinks it’s going to offer, others aren’t too thrilled. What does the public say about Hurly-Burly? Let’s find out!

After transforming into Jessie’s Roundup during Cool KIDS’ Summer, The Diamond Horseshoe at Magic Kingdom is undergoing another transformation!

The Diamond Horseshoe is closed!
The popular Magic Kingdom restaurant is changing up once again, as it will soon become a pop-up restaurant with a brand-new menu. We’re going to be able to make reservations soon, and although we’ve been getting lots of news on the restaurant, we were not expecting to hear this!
Disney park bags can make or break your day. The wrong one leaves you digging for sunscreen, juggling a water bottle, and wondering why you packed six different kinds of snacks but somehow forgot your phone charger. The right one keeps your essentials organized, your hands mostly free, and your park-day chaos at least somewhat contained.
Maybe you want your giant water bottle within reach. Maybe you want a classic Loungefly that actually matches everything. Maybe you need enough pockets to organize sunscreen, chargers, snacks, and whatever mysterious tiny object your kid hands you at 10:43 AM. So, we went looking for Disney park bags for a few very different kinds of park people. And, well, we found them all!
