In case you missed it, this week Disneyland began selling tickets and releasing park passes once again!

After hours of waiting yesterday, we were finally able to get our park tickets. Were you?! Park reservations are already going fast, and we saw that a couple days have already been sold out!
There are TWO big openings happening at Disneyland Resort later this year. First, of course, the parks are going to REOPEN to California residents after a yearlong closure on April 30th!

And, recently we learned that Disney California Adventure Park’s BRAND NEW land, Avengers Campus will open SOON after!
We’ve got even more Disneyland news coming in for our California friends! As that April 30th reopening gets closer, we’re learning more and more details about what the parks will be like!

Today, ticket prices were released for Disneyland, as well as reports of some news that might make it easier for more people to book a park reservation on popular days!
Earlier today, we learned about some major developments over at the Disneyland Resort! After the state of California announced that theme parks could reopen under the Red tier effective April 1st, Disney CEO Bob Chapek shared today that they’re hoping to have the Disneyland theme parks reopen sometime in late April!

While this is certainly exciting news for west coast fans, it left us wondering what the current status of Avengers Campus is and if we could expect this new land to open with the theme parks!

Many are eagerly anticipating the opening of Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure in Disneyland Resort.

The new land, originally anticipated to debut in summer 2020, was to open in two phases. The completed area would have two new attractions, three new dining locations, character encounters, and more. Due to the parks’ closure in spring 2020, the project was delayed.
There have been a couple of noteworthy updates on Disneyland.com about the upcoming Avengers Campus in Disney California Adventure.

A few weeks ago, an opening date of July 18, 2020 was announced for the new land. However, one of the two changes on the Disneyland Resort website now notes Avengers Campus as “Coming Soon.” [Read more…]
