After some MASSIVE jumps in wait times at Walt Disney World last week, things have stabilized a bit.
Wait times at Walt Disney World were steady over the resort this week, though we did still see some incremental increases.
Each week we bring you the latest closures and refurbishments going on around Disney World.
Many of these attractions, restaurants, and even entire parks have been closed for an extended period of time with no reopening date in sight. However, while one restaurant has been closed for its intended purpose for several years now, it occasionally reopens as a completely different venue. Now, on May 1st, we’ll once again see it reopen but NOT as a restaurant.
There are TONS of things to do and see in Disney World!
Each park has lots of rides, shows, dining options, character meet-and-greets, and more. Unfortunately, some of those attractions have to be closed for refurbishment every once in a while. If you take a look at Disney World’s websites or wander around the parks, you’ll notice that 13(!!) attractions will continue to be closed this week!
Waits were LONGER across the board at Walt Disney World this week.
After last week saw wait times go down pretty much across the board at Walt Disney World, this week saw that trend unfortunately head in the opposite direction. Major attractions at Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom saw increases in their average wait times, some as high as 10 MINUTES!
If you’re heading to Disney World in May, there are some things you NEED to know.
Disney World is ever-changing and things can look different at the resort from month to month. From crowd levels to restaurant openings and closings a lot can happen in the span of a few weeks. Of course, that allow applies to Disney World’s many rides and attractions! If you’re planning a trip to The Most Magical Place On Earth in May 2024, you should be prepared for these three rides and attractions to be closed for refurbishment.
Disney World changes very often, which means you’ll visit the parks one time, and a few months later things have changed.
This can make it hard to plan your vacation, but that’s why we’re here! We keep up with all the latest Disney news so you know what’s happening the next time you visit. If you’re visiting the parks this year, here are some recent changes you NEED to know about!
We go to Disney World for the food, but the rides are definitely up there on our list of things to do!
Jumping on a fun roller coaster or flying through the galaxy are great ways to spend our days in the parks. Unfortunately, there are two rides in Disney World that we still can’t ride! Hopefully, they will both be opening soon. Let’s take a look at these two closed rides and everything else that is unavailable due to refurbishments this coming week.
Y’all, the moment we have been waiting for has finally arrived!
After weeks of seeing pretty high average wait times, the Spring Break crowds have finally left Disney World! Wait times have gone down significantly at every single park, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Along with that, the walkways are also a lot less crowded — so getting around the parks has been so much easier, too. We’re hoping that these low wait times are here to stay — at least for a little while. [Read more…]
Wait times have not been letting up at Disney World this week!
However, it might not be in the way you’re thinking. This week, the average wait times have remained fairly…consistent. Still long, but a lot of wait times only had changed by a few minutes. Of course, we still have some that jumped up a good amount — like a handful of the major E-ticket attractions. We’re still feeling some impacts of those Spring Break and Easter crowds, so we’re not too surprised. [Read more…]
We have exciting food news for you all this week!
A popular Disney World restaurant that has been closed since 2020 is finally reopening this week! We can’t wait to dive into the new offerings that will be served at this adorable and delicious dining location. You’ll get to dine with characters and even try a beloved soup (yep, a soup!).
