Hello to all our DFB friends from Disney’s H0llywood Studios!
The park was a lot more crowded than we expected, one temporarily closed attraction reopened, and we saw the new Wishables! So let’s get on with the updates!
It seems that crowds have lightened up at EPCOT this week!
We’re headed into the world of exotic countries, good food, and Frozen Ever After. On our grand tour, we spotted a returning drink and some fun merchandise in the Japan Pavilion. Come see what EPCOT looks like with no running festivals and light crowds!
We spent a rainy Sunday in Magic Kingdom yesterday and we’re definitely not complaining!
We like to take regular spins around Disney World’s premier park to make sure we’re up to date on allllll the latest news. We’re bringing you updates on everything NEW in food, construction, and merchandise!
It’s a BIG day in Disney World. 2020 is officially over!
In the past, New Year’s Day has been one of the busiest (if not THE busiest) day of the whole year at Disney World. It’s pretty common to see the parks hit capacity on a normal year WITHOUT 2020 capacity limitations. Today…not so much. We’re checking out the CROWDS and WAIT TIMES on the first day of 2021!
We’ve seen the crowds at Disney World get a little bigger over the past few months, and we now know that capacity at the parks increased to 35 percent just before the holidays.
But how does that compare to New Year’s Eve’s past? Say 2019? Well, we dug into our photo archives to compare, and BOY, things are CRAZY different (we already knew that but seeing pics really puts it into perspective).
We’re kissing 2020 goodbye at Disney World today! It’s been a long year and we’re ready to move forward into 2021.
Disney World is celebrating New Year’s Eve a little differently this year. The theme parks are closing before midnight for health and safety reasons. Guests are encouraged to ring in the new year from their resort where Disney will host special activities tonight. We’re heading into the parks to see what the crowds, wait times, and the overall vibe is like.
It’s the holidays at Disney World, and even at 35% capacity, it’s been pretty busy in the parks these past few weeks!
We’ve already seen long waits for Mobile Order, and if you’re looking for a table service meal and haven’t made an Advance Dining Reservation, you sadly might be out of luck at quite a few locations today.
If you’ve been in Walt Disney World this week, you’ve surely noticed that the crowds are pretty hefty!
We’ve seen crazy long lines for attractions, large groups of people everywhere we go, and even 3-hour waits for cookies! We expected things to be busy the week after Christmas, but now we’re beginning to understand just how crowded it could get, even with capacity limits. And the crowds aren’t going anywhere yet. Let’s take a look at the Park Pass availability for New Year’s Eve!
It’s one of the absolute CRAZIEST times of the year at Walt Disney World…the bustling week between Christmas and New Year’s!
Even though Disney World is still operating under limited capacity, there’s a certain undeniable buzz in the air during this time of year, and you really have to SEE it to feel it. And if you aren’t there yourself, well, don’t sweat it. Take a journey with us from our photos and videos from Walt Disney World on December 29th!
In case you missed it, Orlando-area cult favorite bakery Gideon’s Bakeshop has OFFICIALLY opened a location at Disney Springs!
This sweet spot, known for its massive, loaded cookies, iced coffee, and cakes, has been a HUGE hit ever since it opened at Walt Disney World’s shopping and dining district. It’s even had to implement a virtual queue system (not unlike those we see for entering popular shops around Disney World)!
