When are you heading to Disney World next? If it’s soon, you might want to pack your patience!
Spring Break crowds have arrived in full force and we’ve been keeping an eye on what that means for your upcoming trip. We’ve seen park pass reservations fill up for ticket holders and hotel guests, and Genie+ has reached its highest price yet again — along with the multi-park option selling out more than once as well. And, with what we’re seeing today, that isn’t stopping anytime soon!
Welp, it’s official. Spring Break crowds have arrived at Disney World.
Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and Hollywood Studios are all sold out for ticket holders and hotel guests who don’t already have park pass reservations for multiple days this week, and chances are that won’t be stopping anytime soon. But, what does that mean for Genie+ in Disney World on a crowded day? Let’s find out.
Disney World is BUSY today, y’all!
The wild part is — it’s not even noon yet! Sometimes early in the day is the easiest time to see how busy the day will be at Disney World, and today is no exception! We know we’ve seen some pretty hectic crowds recently, and wait times were still pretty high last week. Let’s take a look at just how busy it is today! [Read more…]
Phew, wait times are NOT budging in Disney World right now.
We spend SO much time in lines at the Disney parks, and sometimes it just does not feel like we get a reprieve from the long wait times. This week is one of those weeks! The lines may feel endless at times, but the rides can be SO worth it. There are even some fun things you can do with your family in line — even if you’re not in an interactive queue. For example, you could play a classic game of “I Spy”, you could play “Heads Up” (an app you can get on your phone), or even just take in the scenery and enjoy the moment. Sometimes, doing fun things like that can take some of the pain out of the long wait times — now, let’s take a look at how long you’ll be occupying yourself! [Read more…]
We have good news from Disney World!!!
Last week was, well, quite a week in the parks. In fact, it was one of the busiest weeks in all of 2024 so far! Between President’s Day Weekend and the Disney Princess Half Marathon, many people took time to visit the parks…but things are changing. We’re taking a look at the average wait times in Disney World from the past week and don’t worry — things are looking up!
Avoiding the crowds in Disney World is like an Olympic sport.
Okay, maybe it’s not quite that intense, but it can be daunting and very challenging nonetheless. So how do you deal during the peak vacation season? If you’re visiting during Spring Break, summer, or the holidays, what’s the strategy? Well, let me tell you our favorite method for avoiding the masses!
You might think of February as a slow time in Disney World. Depending on the week in February, this could be right or wrong!
February has a holiday weekend that you may have forgotten about — President’s Day — when many kids are off school. On top of that, Disney World also hosts the Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend which runs from February 22nd to 26th, 2024, and brings massive crowds of runners to the parks. So what does that mean for the wait times at your favorite rides? Well, buckle up because it’s NOT pretty… .
It’s February, and in years past, that’s meant a slower time in Disney World.
However, in recent years (especially since the 2020 park closures), we’ve noticed that some of those “slow seasons” that happened periodically in Disney World aren’t really happening anymore, and it feels like crowds descend on the parks 24/7. If you’ve been on TikTok recently, you may be seeing videos from guests highlighting how busy the parks really are. But, is that just a false lens through social media, or is that what’s actually happening?
These days, you never really know what sort of crowds you’re going to be dealing with in Disney World.
Sometimes we expect a totally empty park and are met with intense crowds, and other times it’s the opposite. Even though crowds can be unpredictable, so it’s good to prepare for the worst — and if you’re heading to Disney World this weekend, you might want to do just that.
