Those of you traveling during Christmas week will want to stay extra flexible. Crowds can get heavy around the holidays and you’ll want to prepare for long lines! It’s also good practice to keep informed on scheduled attraction closures when you’re traveling to Disney World. That way, you’re not totally disappointed if you suddenly find out your favorite ride is closed. Disney will often schedule refurbishments to freshen up attractions or work on larger projects. It’s best to know what rides or venues are closed so you can plan around the schedule during your vacation. Let’s take a look at what’s closed next week December 14th through December 20th!
Nighttime spectaculars are still more or less on pause in Disney World right now, with a few minor exceptions like projections and light pyro on Cinderella Castle, Tower of Terror, and the Tree of Life.

Fireworks are a BIG piece of a classic Disney vacation, so we’re waiting patiently for them to return. Luckily, Disney has continued work on EPCOT’s upcoming nighttime show, Harmonious, and now we’ve got an UPDATE from above!
