We received some more exciting updates today during “EPCOT — The Magic of Possibility” under the D23 Fantastic Worlds Celebration!

From attractions like Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, to restaurants like Space 220, we’ve seen tons of progress over the last few months. Lately, we’ve been keeping our eye on the upcoming Walt Disney World Swan Reserve, and now we’ve got a sneak peek at some of the views from the new hotel!
We’ve been enjoying Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway at Disney’s Hollywood Studios for a while now but things are starting to ramp up on the West Coast version!

We’ve been doing a bit of a construction round-up as we’ve looked at EPCOT’s Harmonious, the possible “La Gelateria” in the Italy Pavilion, and the expansion of the France Pavilion.

Buuut, we’re hopping over to a galaxy far, far away to take a look at everything happening over at the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser near Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
We have to say it: We miss Disney fireworks more than anything right now. Although nighttime spectaculars are on pause right now, EPCOT has still been moving forward with the construction on Harmonious!

Although the show was originally supposed to open in spring of this year, progress was delayed when the parks first closed. Now, EPCOT has put barges in place as permits state that more materials are being gathered and fireworks will be tested throughout the end of 2021.
EPCOT has been busy all weekend long with guests heading to the parks for Christmas entertainment (and probably to melt over the two new Karamell-Küche cookies and returning Frozen 2 Sipper).

Although the park is a HOT spot for construction right now, we’re narrowing our focus over to the Italy Pavilion! After construction walls popped up in the area, we’ve seen permits filed by the Pantina Restaurant Group for the “La Gelateria” Gelato Cart. Last year, we got a hint of what was to come with the announcement that the cart would have 12 different varieties of gelato and sorbet, including gluten-friendly and plant-based flavors.
We’re still full from the massive list of holiday treats that we ate in Disney World (and they were worth every bite).

But, we can’t help but look forward to our next great meal in or out of the parks! 😉 Restaurants like McDonald’s have made a home for themselves as Disney continues to expand its property. And, White Castle has announced that it will also be bringing its ONLY Florida location right nearby the Disney World resort area!
October has been quite an eventful month for EPCOT!

Since EPCOT reopened, the park has been keeping busy with the Taste of EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival as well as construction and character updates. (It’s also been the center of some major project and firework drama!)
This month alone we’ve seen a ton of changes while the theme park adapts to the new safety protocols and moves forward on attraction construction. Let’s take a look at the 5 most important changes we’ve seen happen at EPCOT this month!
