Okay, we’re not sure what Disney was doing this year when it planned its schedule, but we’ve been running ourselves ragged trying to keep up with everything. We do it for YOU, dear Disney friends!
So we’ve already been to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in Disney World and Oogie Boogie Bash in Disneyland, but Disney’s busy season is JUST getting started. That’s because a lot of things are about to kick off…ALL ON THE SAME WEEKEND, which just also happens to be Labor Day Weekend. What were you thinking, Disney? Anyway, this is why August 29th is a big day for all of us!
There are SO many options for dining on Disney World property, but you can also find some fantastic options just outside of Disney World! If you are willing to make a short drive from Disney World, you can explore so many amazing dining options nearby.
One of those dining options is the Four Flamingos – A Richard Blais Florida Kitchen. This is the first Florida restaurant from Celebrity Chef Richard Blais, featuring cuisine inspired by Florida’s seasonal flavors. The menu is constantly changing, and we recently stopped by for one of their special events!
Finding a bathroom in EPCOT’s World Showcase can sometimes feel like an adventure you didn’t plan for.
Even if you’ve been to Disney World a hundred times, there are still a few things about the bathrooms in this part of the park that feel outdated and inconvenient. EPCOT has been investing in new attractions, dining, and even nighttime spectaculars, but the bathrooms in World Showcase haven’t really gotten the glow-up they deserve. Here are the five things EPCOT’s World Showcase bathrooms desperately need.
Fall has arrived, Starbucks fans! The good news is that some of the BEST Starbucks drinks EVER are back on the menu. The bad news is that there’s only a limited time to sip on these iconic beverages.

Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai

As much as I love the food and theming at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, there are three cringey restaurant moments that make me hesitate before booking a reservation.

50’s Prime Time Cafe
With themes ranging from retro drive-in theaters to classic sitcom kitchens, these restaurants are experiences in themselves. But while the food and atmosphere can be fun, there are a few moments that don’t quite land. In fact, some of them are so awkward that they make me hesitate before booking a table again. My job for two years has been focusing on Disney World restaurants, and after eating at these ones at Hollywood Studios, there are some moments that have just made me cringe.
With the Magic Kingdom in a massive state of change, including the removal of the iconic Rivers of America, we’re a bit unsure about the future of these long-running shows.
Over the 30+ years I’ve been visiting Walt Disney World, I’ve seen countless iconic attractions close, which has long cemented in my mind the idea that no attraction — no matter how beloved or well-established– is safe forever. While none of these shows have been announced as closing anytime soon, there are reasons each may be on the chopping block in the future.
Disney World is seeing a lot of construction from theme parks to resorts.

Pop Century
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort has construction walls in the lobby for the new birdcage bar that is coming! Disney’s Animal Kingdom has walls up for Tropical Americas’ construction, while Magic Kingdom has the Rivers of America drained to begin construction for the new Cars area, Piston Peak. But, there’s another popular resort that we can add to this list that is seeing some construction.
