Disneyland is taking another step towards reopening!
Disneyland Resort is scheduled to begin a phased reopening starting with Downtown Disney on July 9. Both Disneyland Park and Disney’s California Adventure are set to follow, reopening on July 17th.
While Disney Springs has already re-opened on the East Coast, Disneyland’s Downtown Disney is getting ready to re-open on July 9th!
Although we’ve already been told that Salt & Straw would be opening back up along with the shopping and dining district, we’ve got news about another snack spot you can visit soon.
While Disneyland has already extended the expiration dates for its park tickets, we’ve been waiting to hear about other types of tickets including Military Salute Tickets.
So far, there hasn’t been any word on whether or not these tickets would be extended. But today, Disneyland has updated its website and provided new details on when 2020 Military Salute Tickets are set to expire.
It has just been announced that Californians are required to wear face masks or coverings when in common and public spaces.
Starting today — June 18th — coverings must be worn “in common and public indoor spaces and outdoors when distancing is not possible.” [Read more…]
Disneyland has proposed a reopening for July 17th, and it’s not the only California park looking to reopen.
With many major California theme parks looking to reopen soon (notably, Disneyland), state government officials are looking to issue specific reopening guidelines and modifications to Disneyland and the other parks.
While we await further details regarding Disney’s new reservation system, earlier today we noticed Disney World’s annual passholder calendar had undergone a major update! As we know, just like the general public, Annual Passholders will be required to obtain a reservation before they’re allowed inside a Disney World theme park (which will also be the case at Disneyland).
Disney hasn’t released very many details yet on the new reservation system including how long they’re expecting to use it, so we were intrigued when we noticed the Annual Passholder admission calendar was listing “reservations required” through June 2021!
Moments ago, we reported this year’s Star Wars Celebration had just been canceled.
And in light of this news, Disney has also decided to postpone its Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite.
Just like Star Wars Rival Run Weekend that was scheduled to take place in Disney World, 2020’s Star Wars Celebration has now been canceled.
