Disneyland and Disney California Adventure have SO MANY RIDES packed between just the two parks.

Space Mountain is one of the most ICONIC classic Disney attractions. (And it’s also one of the most back-breaking rides in Tomorrowland — free chiropractic adjustment, anyone?)
Space Mountain has experienced its share of highs and lows (pun intended because it’s a ROLLER COASTER 😂); it’s one of those attractions that’s been around for a LONG time. It initially opened in Disney World in March 1975 and later opened in Disneyland on May 27th, 1977. That means that Disneyland’s Space Mountain is turning 46 years old today, May 27th — and Disneyland is celebrating with a new souvenir and drink.
We just found a unique churro — who wants to see it?!
Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure certainly have had their fair share of news lately with fun popcorn buckets like the Mickey Mouse Perfect Picnic popcorn bucket and a new Ariel meet and greet debuting in the parks based on the live-action movie, but Disney’s latest addition is one that we feel like might cause a stir! The day we’ve been waiting for has finally arrived — Disney’s live-action The Little Mermaid remake is here!
We’ve been preparing by watching the trailers, getting some behind-the-scenes sneak peeks, and even doing our makeup like the iconic princess. But now, we can celebrate in a whole new way thanks to the new live-action Little Mermaid meet and greet at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
We don’t know about you, but if we could have Disney PhotoPass photographers follow us EVERYWHERE and take ALL our photos, we’d totally do it.
We love all the special moments PhotoPass photographers can capture, but what’s even more fun are all those special Magic Shots. How else would we be able to get a photo with Grogu in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge or get Tinker Bell to land in the palm of our hands? Well, a NEW Magic Shot is now available in Disney Parks and this one will take you under the sea.
The NEW live-action The Little Mermaid movie has OFFICIALLY been released and there are a few different ways YOU can celebrate.
You can meet the live-action version of Ariel at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disneyland, grab some mermaid-themed merchandise, and even stop by an AMC theater to grab a special popcorn bucket. But now, specialty snacks are available to celebrate the movie too.
In April of 2022, we found out that Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel at Disneyland would be undergoing a MAJOR transformation to become the Pixar Place Hotel.
Set to open this winter, the high-rise hotel overlooks Disney California Adventure Park and will present to visitors the artwork and styles from the classic Pixar films and animation studios. Disney just shared some extra details on the all-new restaurant coming to the hotel this fall.
You know that your friends here at DFB love to indulge in the delicious food at Disneyland. And while visiting Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure, we always save time to explore the Downtown Disney District. With fantastic restaurants and fun gift shops to explore, we recommend enjoying at least one (or more!) of your meals here.
But with so many restaurants, which Downtown Disney locations are actually the best? Well, we’ve eaten at ALL of them, so we can help you decide where to dine on vacation!
If Pixar Pier is one of your favorite places in Disney California Adventure, imagine staying in a HOTEL with even more colorful Pixar theming. Well, it’s your lucky day, because such a place is coming SOON to Disneyland Resort! Oh, Disney, you sure know how to reel us back in for another vacation.
This winter, the Pixar Place Hotel is set to open. Uh-oh, that doesn’t give us much time to start a new staycation fund! The hotel will feature a reimagined Pixar theme that “weaves the artistry of Pixar into its comfortable, contemporary setting.” So far, we’ve seen some exciting concept art, and now Disney revealed even MORE information about the hotel. Let’s take a look!
Here at DFB, we’re all about a commemorative popcorn bucket!
Popcorn buckets are some of Disney’s most popular souvenirs (just look at what happened with the Figment bucket!) and we’ve seen a wide variety of festive designs pop up in Disney World and at Disneyland Resort. But if you’re an avid bucket collector, you’ll need to make your way to the west coast to pick up one that’s coming soon.
