Space 220 finally opened yesterday in EPCOT!

We’ve been waiting literal YEARS for this futuristic restaurant to open, and the anticipation has been building ever since seeing new concept art, menu details, and a sneak peek inside. At last, we got to go inside yesterday and eat a meal! We saw some awesome details and ate delicious food. But, we weren’t the only ones eager to get inside, because there was about a 4 hour long line to get into Space 220 on opening day. But today, there might be a solution to that long line!

We’ve been waiting for this EPCOT restaurant for YEARS and we finally got to go inside and have a meal! We traveled up that space elevator, into the dining area, and saw that beautiful view of the Earth and the stars for the first time. We also noticed some cool details floating around. So, we’re telling you what hidden details to look out for at Space 220!
It’s hard to believe that after all this time, we’re finally eating at Space 220!

It’s been 84 years (actually more like 4 years) since Space 220 was announced (we first heard about it back in 2017), and after many setbacks and delays, it’s FINALLY here. Today we got the chance to travel 220 miles above the Earth to eat in SPACE. Is this spot worth the wait (both in the amount of years we’ve waited AND the long line you might need to wait in to eat here)? Let’s find out.
Even though we’ve still got Halloween and the 50th Anniversary ahead of us, we’re already thinking about the holiday season at Disney World!

This year, the two months of excitement will be highlighted by the Disney Very Merriest After Hours event and the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, plus decorations all around the resorts, special snacks, and offerings at Disney Springs. And today we found out that one of our favorite entertainment options will be returning!

We’ve been waiting what feels like forever for this Future World food spot to open. The anticipation has been building as well, with us getting a sneak peek inside, finding out what’s on the menus, and seeing the signs finally go up! And, we haven’t been the only ones waiting to eat here, according to the opening day lines we saw this morning!

Space 220 has FINALLY opened its doors (or should we say elevator?) to the public in EPCOT! It seems like we’ve been waiting to hear about the opening day for this new restaurant for lightyears. Ok, maybe that’s a little bit of an exaggeration. But it has been a while. After all, we first found out about this innovative space-themed restaurant back in 2017! The restaurant was supposed to open some time ago, but met with delays. Since then we’ve been gathering all the news we could as we waited for more. And now, SPACE 220 HAS ARRIVED! Here’s what you need to know.

We’ve already seen the menus that will be available when it opens, some possible drinks they’ll be serving, concept art for the dining experience, and the restaurant’s new sign. In fact, we’ve even taken a look inside Space 220 itself. Now, all that’s left is to share this BIG news about reservations for the new restaurant!

It’s been a busy week trying out new snacks, diving into some old favorites, and spending some time checking out everything going on with Disney World restaurants. And with the 50th anniversary celebration quickly approaching, there is A LOT going on!
Disney’s Fastpass+ service is no longer in place, but there’s a NEW Fastpass+ replacement coming soon to Disney World called Disney Genie+. If you miss strolling through the Fastpass line to board your favorite attraction, you might be interested in paying for Disney Genie+, which will give guests access to over 40 attractions in Disney World.

As we wait for Disney Genie to take over, we’ve been keeping our eyes out for new Lightning Lane signage around the parks. We put together a handy little list of ALL the Disney attractions that will use Lightning Lanes (AKA the old Fastpass lane).
