But, that is ALL ABOUT TO CHANGE! Fireworks will be returning to Disney World soon and we are EXPLODING (see what we did there?) with excitement!
Alright EPCOT, quit teasing us!
It’s been over a year since we’ve seen a full Nighttime Spectacular in Disney World and we are pretty excited to see some fireworks again. EPCOT, especially, is exciting because the park is set to debut the all-new show, Harmonious. We’ve spotted fireworks testing in the park a few times, and now we can take a peek at some of the most MAJOR tests we’ve seen so far!
If you’re planning your first trip to Disney World, there are a lot of things you need to know!
You’ll want to learn as much about the parks as you can — from the restaurants to the rides and everything in-between. And as a first-time guest, there are a few ways that Disney tries to trick you. Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered with the full list so that you know what to expect!
We haven’t seen a full fireworks show in Disney World for OVER a year now.
When Disney World reopened after the park closures, fireworks and a number of other offerings were temporarily suspended, and fireworks remain suspended to this day. Do you think fireworks will return by the end of 2021? We reached out to our readers via Instagram to see their thoughts and their response was pretty clear!
Disney World is slowly returning to pre-COVID operations.
We’re seeing restaurants and hotels reopening, health and safety measures shifting, and suspended events returning. But not everything is as it was before just yet! There are still quite a few things that haven’t returned to Disney World since the extended closure last year.
When Disney World reopened last year, a lot had changed due to health and safety guidelines.
And one of the things that changed was Disney temporarily suspending its nighttime entertainment, which means guests haven’t seen a fireworks show in the parks in over a year, save for some occasional fireworks testing. But we’re starting to see some indications that we might see fireworks return in some capacity to the parks soon!
Just when you think Disney World can’t get any busier…it does!
We started the year with a FULL year’s worth of announcements in January alone, but there was still LOTS of Disney news in February and March. April was certainly no exception, with the long-awaited reopening of the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover, and many transformations happening around the parks! And we’ve only seen more news released since then. Without further ado, let’s take a look at 16 new things that have happened in Disney World recently or are set to happen soon!
Hello from another week in Disney World! 👋
Some things around Disney are starting to look more like how we remember them from before the parks closed. It’s not the first time we’ve seen changes made to some of Disney’s policies since the reopening. Little by little, things have started to go back to “normal.” Some restaurants and resorts have reopened, Park Hopping has returned, and some character dining has even come back. And recently, we spotted some BIG changes in Disney World that show even more things are returning to some semblance of pre-pandemic “normalcy.”
When you visit Disney World, you may hear a LOT of phrases that you don’t understand!
Disney fans use jargon that is completely unique to the parks, filled with acronyms and fancy words that don’t mean anything to the outsider or the first-time guest. As you become more acquainted with the parks, you’ll start to learn more about “Disney speak,” but today we’re giving you a crash course!
