But, there’s so much more than just cookies at this spot. There’s also cold brew coffee and giant slices of cake. You can even buy CUPS of FROSTING from Gideon’s! But, aside from their food, their Disney Springs location also has a mysterious backstory that we’ve been following for quite some time, and today we got a bit more of the story behind some of the portraits that are featured inside their store!

We’re already obsessed with this new bakery that recently opened up at Walt Disney World’s shopping and dining district, Disney Springs, thanks to its massive, chocolate chip-loaded cookies and iced coffee!
In case you missed it, Orlando-area cult favorite bakery Gideon’s Bakeshop has OFFICIALLY opened a location at Disney Springs!

This sweet spot, known for its massive, loaded cookies, iced coffee, and cakes, has been a HUGE hit ever since it opened at Walt Disney World’s shopping and dining district. It’s even had to implement a virtual queue system (not unlike those we see for entering popular shops around Disney World)!

We’ve spent the last several months watching and waiting for the opening of the first Disney World location of local Orlando favorite Gideon’s Bakehouse. And though the spot won’t “grand” open until 2021, Disney World’s newest cookie palace is now open for business! Cookies, here we come!

We’ve been anxiously awaiting the opening of this new store — watching construction, checking job postings, and speculating about a possible opening date. With the news that Gideon’s Bakehouse would be offering holiday cookies THIS YEAR, we knew that an opening date or at least a soft opening date was coming soon, and now we know exactly when that exciting day will be!
