We’ve waited hours (and trust us, it was worth it) to get inside to pick up our sweet treat fix. But what one man did for his Gideon’s is flat-out inspiring — and exhausting.
We had an EXCELLENT morning today. Why? Because we started with sweets!

Okay, maybe it’s not the BEST idea to start your day with cake and cookies, but we aren’t complaining. If you’ve been keeping up with the Disney dessert news lately, then you’ve probably heard a LOT about Gideon’s Bakehouse. Well, they don’t call these the best cookies ever for nothin’!
Since Gideon’s Bakehouse opened in Disney Springs, it has drawn in lots and lots of visitors!

After a very successful soft opening, the unique cookie shop had its grand opening event with new flavors, merchandise, and more! Just a little bit after the shop opened, the virtual queue was already FULL with a wait time of 11 hours (!!!). The people need their cookies and peanut butter cold brew!

We’re constantly visiting spots all around Disney World to see what’s new, and recently we stopped by Disney Springs to see what new things we could find. We tried LOTS of delicious snacks, hacked a grilled cheeeeeese with BACON on a donut(!!!), and got to check out some brand new artwork celebrating Soul and Black History Month. We LOVE trying their newest inventions, like the spicy Eternal Flame Cookie or secret slices of cake. And the’ve upped their game recently and offered more than baked goods: they also sell coffee cups and face masks! But if you want to show your Gideon’s pride another way, we’ve got good news. We’ve been seeing a lot of exciting things over at Gideon’s Bakehouse lately!
After trying some of their enormous cookies, delectable cake slices, and peanut butter-y coffee at their soft opening in December, they had their grand opening event on January 16th! While the cookies may be the main draw for this shop, we went in today to grab something else.
Gideon’s Bakehouse is a brand new cookie shop that opened in Disney Springs last month. The shop opened with a HUGE turnout as there were sometimes upwards of a three hour wait to get through the door. I mean, they serve up CUPS of frosting, Peanut Butter Iced Coffee, and insanely delish half-pound cookies…so yeah, we get the hype.

Gideon’s Bakehouse temporarily closed their doors at the beginning of January to deal with some “behind the scenes logistics ahead of the grand opening.” But now, we have some BIG news for those of you looking to get your cookie fix in Disney World.
