We’ve enjoyed our share of Valentine’s Day treats, indulged in a lot of green St. Patrick’s Day treats, and ate our weight in delicious Easter snacks. But now, Mother’s Day is coming up on May 8th, and both Disney World AND Disneyland are releasing a ton of new treats just for mom!
You’ve gotten your dining reservations, booked the perfect hotel room, and even bought your tickets. But if you’ve forgotten to do 1 critical thing, you could find yourself in SERIOUS TROUBLE when you arrive at Disney World.
Magic Kingdom
What are we talking about? Well, Park Pass Reservations of course! While you will need a valid theme park ticket to get into the Most Magical Place on Earth, you’ll ALSO need a valid Park Pass Reservation for the parks you want to visit. Some days, especially during a slow time of the year, you may be able to score a reservation to your desired theme park at the last-minute, easy peasy. But there are some dates in 2022 that could be EXTREMELY popular or busy, and you’ll want to make your theme park reservations for them as far in advance as you can. So, don’t be the White Rabbit (late for a very important date) — let’s look at the 2022 dates for which you’ll want to book your theme park reservations NOW!
Disney sure knows how to tempt us with Easter treats. One minute we’re eyeing up a healthy snack, the next we’re drooling over the latest seasonal cupcake — talk about a tricky snack battle! (Usually, the sweet treats win, though)

In preparation for the upcoming Easter holiday, Disney has been releasing tons of springtime snacks throughout the parks, like Cookies and Cream Cheesecake and a Carrot Cake Cupcake! We’re dedicated to trying ALL of the Disney World snacks that pop up, and today, we got to try another adorable Easter dessert!
If we know one thing about Disney, it’s that the holiday season can NEVER come too early.

At the Disney parks, holiday decorations pop up right after Halloween ends (sometimes before), and holiday festivals aren’t far behind! We’ve even seen mid-summer holiday merchandise reveals. But are we REALLY ready to get in the holiday spirit right now?
There are some flavor combinations that seem to be VERY controversial. Are you team pineapple on pizza? Do you mind a little chocolate-covered bacon? What about mint chocolate chip ice cream? No matter where you stand on those great food debates, it’s always fun to see what kind of new treats Disney thinks up! We’ve tasted some WEIRD flavors in our time, but it’s always an adventure!

It’s hard not to smile at any Disney World balloon, right? We love seeing new ones pop up, and we know a lot of you like to see them too! Most recently, we saw a balloon covered in other balloons (Disney balloon inception). The holiday balloons are also a lot of fun, especially the Christmas and Halloween ones. But now, a NEW Easter balloon has arrived!
Here at the Disney Food Blog, we’re not in the business of shaming — we’re in the business of sharing! Of course, we love recommending the best-tasting foods across the parks and resorts, but sometimes even WE would rather eat a snack that was made for looks more than taste. And you know what? Know what’s so fun about Disney World? No, we’re not talking about Flight of Passage, or eating a Mickey Bar, or saying “hello” to Mickey (though those are VERY fun, too!). One of our favorite parts of going to Disney World is that no two visits are ever the same!
