Hong Kong Disneyland is the latest Disney park to receive a new castle and we are SO excited about it. We got a peek at the upcoming Castle of Magical Dreams in June, and now we have an opening date!
After unprecedented closures due to the current global pandemic, Disney parks around the world are beginning to reopen…some for the second time so far this year.

And today we have big news for many fans who have been awaiting their next ride on Mystic Manor! Hong Kong Disneyland will officially reopen on September 25th.

Although Hong Kong Disneyland is currently closed (after a brief reopening) due to the global health crisis, it still has BIG plans to celebrate its 15th birthday.

Hong Kong Disneyland Resort (which is showing signs it COULD reopen soon) is celebrating VIRTUALLY, and is sharing all the fun with the rest of the world!
Earlier this year, Hong Kong Disneyland closed temporarily due to the global pandemic.

It then reopened in June, only to close again shortly thereafter, in July, due to an increase in Covid-19 cases in the region. Although the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort hotels are open, Hong Kong Disneyland Park remains closed. Now, nearly two months later, we’ve got some signs that may point to another reopening of Hong Kong Disneyland coming in the near future.

Now, you can learn more about a special attraction that is only found in Hong Kong Disneyland Park!
Well, here we are. All of the Disney World parks have reopened and we’ve been exploring the changes for over a week now.

It certainly can be easy to want to settle back into “the parks are open” mode, but just because the parks are open doesn’t mean they’ll necessarily stay that way. Hong Kong Disneyland recently became the first park to RE-close due to the global health crisis…is it possible that Disney World could do the same?

After almost a month of being reopen with new health measures in place, the park is once more taking significant action in response to the global health crisis. Hong Kong Disneyland has announced that the resort will be RECLOSING due to an uptick in Covid-19 cases in the region.
Disney’s international parks outside of the U.S. are known for incredible creativity. They are all beautiful and unique in their own way, with Disneyland Paris’ stunning castle (with a full-sized dragon hiding underneath!) as well as Shanghai’s MASSIVE castle!

While Disneyland Paris and Hong Kong Disneyland have announced that they will be opening the gates to Arendelle in 2021, construction halted all around the parks during the closures.
