Special Disney events occasionally take place after the parks have closed, which are excellent opportunities to take advantage of shorter lines and lower crowds. Sometimes, there are even complimentary treats and drinks! We are big fans of attending these after hours events, if you are able. But if you ask us, one of the best perks is access to exclusive after-hours events in the Disney theme parks! Moonlight Magic just so happens to be one of those events, and now we know when they’ll be back in 2024!

We’re not even talking about being able to book stays at Disney World properties around the world (although that is certainly a benefit of membership). DVC members also get access to exclusive merchandise, previews of new attractions, and more. DVC members also get access to an exclusive after-hours event in Disney World, called Moonlight Magic — and a new event is coming up soon!

This exclusive event is for Disney Vacation Club members and gives them the chance to enjoy the parks after the rest of the guests leave for the night. That means fewer crowds, lower wait times, and more exclusive experiences (like characters!) — and registration for the next Moonlight Magic at Hollywood Studios is open now!
UPDATE: Registration has sold out for the August 2nd Moonlight Magic event date at Animal Kingdom.

Disney World is known for putting on a few spectacular after-hours events for traditional guests and even exclusive ones for Disney Vacation Club members. Today — July 19th — those that didn’t have resort reservations to secure a spot during the early registration window for the Moonlight Magic event coming soon to Disney’s Animal Kingdom will finally have their chance at securing a reservation! Here’s what you need to know.
There are several different Disney World events that take place in the parks after they close for the night, including Extended Evening Hours for guests at Disney’s deluxe hotels, some holiday parties, and After Hours events. But there’s one very EXCLUSIVE event that’s coming up soon!

Are you ready for Moonlight Magic in Disney’s Hollywood Studios?

This is a special event for Disney Vacation Club members that gives them the chance to enjoy certain parks AFTER they’ve closed to “regular” guests. At the beginning of this year, Disney announced the Moonlight Magic events that would be returning in 2023, and recently we found out the registration dates for each event. One of those registration dates has finally arrived!
After Hours events are a great way to spend time in the Disney World parks. You get to experience Disney World with much lower crowds, shorter lines, and cooler temperatures!

Sometimes guests are treated to special additions, like complimentary drinks and snacks and special character interactions.
