Bob Iger served as CEO for many years before stepping aside suddenly and selecting Bob Chapek as his successor. Chapek’s run at Disney, however, was short-lived. After finding himself in the middle of a number of battles and controversies (from the handling of the Parental Rights in Education Act in Florida to contract disputes with Scarlett Johansson), Chapek was swiftly removed from his position and replaced once again with Iger. But just who is Iger looking to for inspiration now that he’s back? Well, if you are an Iger expert, the answer might not surprise you.
There are a LOT of changes happening at Disney Parks ALL over the world.
Sleeping Beauty Castle in Disneyland Paris
In Disney World, EPCOT is still in the middle of a massive transformation. Disneyland just got a new ride, an updated land, and will soon get a Tiana-themed restaurant. Both U.S. parks are getting a new Tiana-based ride. Disneyland Paris, though, might just be getting the coolest thing of all — a restaurant themed around Coco.
It’s been a wild run for Disney marathons this season.

It seems like we were lacing up our sneakers for the Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend yesterday, and themes were already announced for the 2024 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend. But there’s still one more race this season to look forward to — and it’s right around the corner. The 2023 runDisney Springtime Surprise Weekend starts Thursday, April 13th, and we have a first look at the merchandise!

No two days are alike, and there’s almost always something new to see. On a recent trip to EPCOT, we noticed that something had changed at one of our favorite stores!
Pixar’s Lightyear excited fans around the world in the months leading up to its release. Trailers seemed to tease this spinoff as a glimpse into Buzz Lightyear’s past, so many expected it to be about the beloved character from Toy Story.

However, the movie wasn’t like that at all. Millions of Disney fans were unsatisfied with this story because of the lack of connection between this story and the classic Toy Story characters. Ultimately, the movie was a bit of a flop compared to other Pixar films. Why? What went wrong? Pixar Chief Creative Officer Pete Docter recently explained.
