If you’ve visited Disneyland over the last couple of months, then you’ve seen the refurbishment walls surrounding Sleeping Beauty Castle, along with the ongoing refurbishment efforts.

Disney has shared that the Castle refurbishments are part of Project Stardust — an overarching plan which includes “a number of enhancements” to the entire Disneyland Resort — and in particular Disneyland park – in an effort to “continue to deliver a world-class guest experience” in advance of the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and you just knew the Donut Cart near Sleeping Beauty Castle in Disneyland Park was going to get in on the action. They’ve created two stylish donuts that are as delicious (and sweet!) as they are pretty. The Valentine Donut starts out simple enough with a basic yeast donut. But then… things get pink real fast.

During the slower months of January and February, Disneyland frequently closes some rides and attractions for refurbishment. In addition to Astro Orbitor and Splash Mountain closures scheduled for this Spring, the iconic Sleeping Beauty Castle will also get some much needed repairs.

near Sleeping Beauty Castle is a must-do if you like unique donut concoctions. After all, this is where the so-called Dole Whip Donut took up residence a few weeks ago!
