Those of you traveling during Christmas week will want to stay extra flexible. Crowds can get heavy around the holidays and you’ll want to prepare for long lines! It’s also good practice to keep informed on scheduled attraction closures when you’re traveling to Disney World. That way, you’re not totally disappointed if you suddenly find out your favorite ride is closed. PHOTOS: The Overwhelming Train Station Scrim Gets a New Look in Magic Kingdom

There are quite a few construction projects going on all over Disney World including TONS of work happening as part of the EPCOT Transformation, new stores and restaurants being built in Disney Springs, and los of construction going on near the TRON coaster.

It looks like Disney has been doing some work at the Main Street, U.S.A. train station in Magic Kingdom as well based on the big scrims we’ve seen there recently. But, as we walked into Magic Kingdom today, the train station was looking a bit different!

Photos! Walking Into Magic Kingdom Looks Pretty Different Today

The Walt Disney World Railroad has been “temporarily unavailable” for quite some time now!

Train Station

It has been closed since 2018 due to construction on the new TRON coaster coming to Tomorrowland. For a little while, we got to see the train take up residence at the main station, but it has since been moved to Fantasyland. With the train closed, it looks like Disney’s taking some time to spruce up the station — we noticed scrims on the back the other day. Today, we’ve got an update on those scrims, and things are looking VERY different!
