So when it comes to food, we know a lot of folks probably wouldn’t think much about visiting Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground if they’re not staying there.
New food at Crockett’s Tavern
Sure, the resort is gorgeous and fun to walk around. It’s also fun to visit Tri-Circle-D Ranch to see some horses and even indulge in a little horseback riding. But food? Well, you might not think this is a food destination in Disney World. Well, we’re here to tell you that you might be wrong if you think that. We just visited one of the dining spots at Fort Wilderness, and we’re already planning on going back — no, REALLY!
Walt Disney World was designed with a vast transportation infrastructure, and in the nearly 55 years since the resort opened, that system has only grown.
Disney makes us happy!
These days, Disney World guests can traverse the property by land via the bus, by air via the Monorail and the SkyLiner, and by “sea” with a fleet of watercraft that sail to three of the resort’s four theme parks!

Disney’s been hard at work overhauling the SeaBase aquarium in World Nature and welcoming new manatees into their short-term care program. While we’ve loved stopping by for a chance to see a few new friendly faces, there’s another experience that, if you time just right, could blow your mind!

A lot of change is on the horizon for Hollywood Studios. Muppets Courtyard closed down this year to begin construction on the new Monsters Inc. themed land, Rock ‘N’ Roller Coaster will eventually get a Muppets re-theme, and the most recent news involved the closing and changing of Animation Courtyard. As exciting as we are about what’s coming, we noticed an iconic piece was gone!
One of our favorite signature dining restaurants in Disney World just got a HUGE menu update! We’ve been singing the praises of Tiffins Restaurant for years and it’s the kind of restaurant at Disney World that leaves a lasting impression — in a good way. While we’ve enjoyed their menu items including their delicious Bread Service for years, they’ve recently made some changes to the menu that we decided needed investigating ASAP!

We’ve had some GREAT meals at Summer House on the Lake and as one of the newest Disney Springs restaurants, it’s quickly made our shortlist of repeatable favorites. A new playground is in the works for Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

You might have thought Disney World had its hands full with changes at Disney’s Hollywood Studios between a new Monsters Inc. themed rollercoaster and land and two new shows. However, it seems that Disney World isn’t quite finished with new offerings for one of its most popular parks! They’ve just made some HUGE announcements about one of the lands we’ve had our eyes on for a while, and fans will be thrilled to hear it’s getting even more TLC soon!
Well, just about everything seems to be changing in Disney World right now, and it’s enough to make your head spin. Magic Kingdom is getting a new expansion AND a new land. Disney’s Animal Kingdom is getting a new land. Disney’s Hollywood Studios is getting…yep, you guessed it…a new land.

There’s a huge change happening right now over in EPCOT, too. Test Track has been closed for over a year to be reimagined. Well, that reimagining is officially done, and Test Track is open to the public again. However, because of new demand for Test Track, Lightning Lane Multi Pass has also changed in EPCOT.
