We’re back with more of what’s new in Disney’s Animal Kingdom!
Disney World is currently celebrating World Princess Week and Halloween has already arrived in Magic Kingdom, but what’s happening in Animal Kingdom? Let’s go over what’s new!
Let’s take a walk around Disney Springs, shall we?
Halloween has arrived at Disney World, bringing a ton of not-so-spooky treats, events, and merchandise with it. But the seasonal fun isn’t limited to just the parks — you can find pops of Halloween around Disney Springs, too. And just this week, we noticed some new touches of Halloween in the area. So, without further delay, let’s see what’s new at Disney Springs!
We’ve found some pretty unique souvenirs in Disney World over the years.
There have been creepy windbreakers, lip balms with concerning names, and even hats with arms (?!). But, there have also been some fun items that we would never have thought we would’ve wanted, but totally do! And then, of course, you’ve got your classic Disney souvenirs, like Mickey balloons, popcorn buckets, and Minnie ears. However, we just found a souvenir that’s unique, fun, and could totally replace a theme park staple!
Who’s your favorite Disney Princess? No matter who it might be, we’re sure she’s being celebrated this week.
You see, it’s officially World Princess Week in Disney World, and Disney is celebrating with special merchandise, entertainment, and — of course — FOOD. Today, we’re trying out a returning cookie that’s all about the sisters from Frozen! Come with us to see if this treat is worth the cost and stomach space.
On your marks, get set…BAKE! Did anyone read that in Noel and Matt’s voices? Or maybe in Sue and Mel’s? Or maybe you have no idea what we’re talking about?
C’mon, we’re sure you’ve all seen The Great British Baking Show (or Bake Off if you’re a purist)! And if you’re like us, you might have re-watched it more times than you’re willing to admit. There’s just something so soothing about that music at the beginning and the panicked (but still so polite and helpful) bakers and the reliable “simple but effective” comment from Paul Hollywood. It’s our comfort show, and we aren’t ashamed. If you’re also a big Bake Off fan, you’ve GOT to see our newest find on Amazon! [Read more…]
To ensure we are equipping our readers with all the information they need, we will continue to report on all travel, safety, and COVID-related news that could impact an upcoming vacation.
COVID-19 vaccine and testing guidelines are changing for a variety of vacations and vacation destinations, so you need to keep up with all the latest info.
When it comes to cruising, we’ve shared how Disney Cruise Line will be changing its COVID-19 policies soon, and how other cruise lines like Carnival and Virgin Voyages have changed their rules too. Now, we’ve got another update regarding a major cruise line.
Halloween is continuing to creep into the parks…and we couldn’t be happier about it!
We’ve been trick-or-treating at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, digging into spooky snacks, taking in the Halloween décor, and shopping for all kinds of new merchandise. And, speaking of shopping, we just spotted a new Halloween item that’s joined the mix…and it’s frighteningly cute.Â
A lot of people start their days off with a nice, hot cup of Joe — or some iced coffee, if that’s what floats your boat!
There’s a bunch of options for coffee in Disney World, with Starbucks and Joffrey’s locations located all around the parks, resorts, and Disney Springs. It’s even where you can find specialty items, like the exclusive drinks Joffrey’s makes for the EPCOT festivals! We’ve seen coffee prices go up in the past, and now, it looks like they could go up again soon.
UPDATE: Though some H2O+ products are still available on Amazon, nearly all H2O+ products appear to have been removed from shopDisney at this time. Be sure to check and see if items are restocked or reappear on the website in the future.
If you’ve ever stayed at a Disney hotel, gone on a Disney Cruise, or even experienced the Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser, then you may be familiar with H2O+ products, Disney’s in-room bath and skincare line.
Disney hotel rooms come with H2O+ shampoo, conditioner, and soap, and hotels that have more amenities often come with more — like body lotion, mouthwash, and even aloe lotion. These products are widely popular amongst Disney hotel guests, but the company that makes these items recently announced that it would be retiring the skincare line at the end of the year. If you’re a fan of the H2O+ items and are looking to stock up, now might be the time because the Disney products are currently on sale online!
Looking for a new pair of Minnie Ears? If so, good luck.
No, seriously — the mission to find new Minnie Ears can be difficult, thanks to the ridiculously large amount you have to choose from. There are snack ears, hotel ears, attraction ears, and even…faux-hawk ears. And now, a sweet pair of ears has made its way to Disney World, making your decision muuuuuch harder.
