Time to Meet Some Friends!
Although summer crowds and heat advisories have arrived, plenty of fan-favorite entertainment options have returned to Disney World recently! We just saw the grand reopening of the reimagined Finding Nemo musical, meet-and-greets continue to return around the parks, plus Minnie Vans are officially coming back at the end of the month (even though they have already returned a bit early)! And today marks the official return of the Minnie and Mickey meet-and-greet at Adventurer’s Outpost in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, but there’s another update you need to know about!

Disney has! That’s why it recently announced the Storyliving by Disney project, which is a project that will build Disney residential communities across the country. One of the first is a luxurious community called Cotino in California’s Coachella Valley, which the company broke ground on back in April. Now, Disney has shared some concept art designs of what the houses in Cotino might look like.

It’s already bringing in a ton of money at the box office, it has a super lovable cat character, a Little Golden Book, and even a new Disneyland character! We also spotted a Lightyear gauntlet over in Disneyland, but if you want to snag it without paying park admission, there’s another place you can go!

Just kidding, but we do have news out of Disneyland! But really, when do we not? There’s always so much going on in the Disney parks. Buzz Lightyear just got a whole new look in the park, inspired by the release of Lightyear in theaters, and we just got an inside look at the new retheming coming to Splash Mountain on both coasts. If you’re looking for a fun new treat to try in the West Coast park, check out this new boozy-flavored parfait!
If you’re going to Disney World with young kiddos, be sure to pack your patience. Trips to the parks with little ones in tow can have stressful moments.

Of course, it’s all worth it when their face lights up at the sight of Cinderella Castle, or when they meet Mickey for the first time. That’s why we encourage you to take the kiddos…but we try and prepare you properly with things like packing lists for toddlers, lessons we’ve learned about taking a baby to the parks, and more!
