Each year, EPCOT’s premier annual event features a veritable smorgasbord of culinary delights from around the world. Over my 6+ years of covering the festival, I’ve seen plenty of foods come and go to the food booths scattered throughout the park. Oogie Boogie Bash has officially begun at Disney California Adventure! This after-hours event is a full night of Halloween fun with special snacks and all of your favorite villains.

A Universal Orlando Ride Just Permanently Closed. Here’s What Might Replace It

Yesterday was a big day in Universal Orlando, because an iconic ride in Universal Studios had its final day of operation.

Destination D23: A Journey Around the Worlds of Disney is a large fan event taking place at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort in Disney World from August 29th through 31st, 2025. This event usually sheds a ton of light on The Walt Disney Company’s long-term plans for its entertainment, parks, cruise line, and more. While this year’s event does not have a dedicated parks panel, it’s still possible we could learn a few tidbits regarding upcoming and ongoing projects at the Disneyland Resort!

The crystal clear oceans and white sand beaches are an easy allure for many travelers, especially those who live in colder states or don’t have any beaches nearby to visit in/around their hometown. Disney Cruise Line has many stops there (including their own private resort), and other cruise lines like Royal Caribbean and Carnival Cruise Lines, among others, do the same. However, at Carnival’s newly opened Celebration Key Resort, two different travelers have drowned in one day.

I Am a Disney Grandma at Heart – These Are the Unspoken Rules I Follow in Magic Kingdom

Hello, hi! I am a self-proclaimed grandma at heart at the ripe age of 29. I am also a Disney adult who loves spending my free time at Disney World. What exactly constitutes a grandma at heart? Well, there isn’t exactly one definition, but for me, I enjoy living a slower life. I am almost always in bed by 9 PM and up before 7 AM. The club life is not the life for me, and I much prefer quieter settings. I would also be perfectly content sitting in a rocking chair and watching the world go by for hours. Plus, crafting is always a yes for me!

While Disney World is generally a fairly chaotic place, I think there is something for just about anyone to enjoy! So, if you relate to being a grandma at heart, or are just looking for some more low-key things to do in Disney World, you have come to the right place! I am sharing some of my unspoken rules for Magic Kingdom and some of the must-dos if you are looking for a great time.
