There are some unspoken rules when you’re getting dressed to go to Disney World.
You’ll want to choose shoes that are broken in already and an outfit that goes well with the weather (which is most often hot and swampy). If you’re adding accessories, there are plenty of fun options from Mickey ears to Loungefly bags. But today, we’re going beyond those basic rules and sharing some outfit planning notes you may not think about.
There’s always something changing in Disney World, but sometimes we start to wonder if a few things are being left behind.
Magic Kingdom has seen a ton of updates lately, and even more are coming. But while some areas are getting the glow-up treatment, others seem to be sitting in a weird limbo. We’re starting to get a little nervous about two attractions that have us raising eyebrows lately… and maybe you should be too.
So you know how the holiday season is one of the most busiest seasons for Disney World? Well, in Disneyland, one of the busiest seasons is Halloween Time, which happens this year from August 22nd through October 31st.
That’s because Disneyland goes ALL out for Halloween. Both parks get decorations and Oogie Boogie Bash has become something of a legend, which is why tickets generally sell out fast for it. Then there are the TONS of Halloween snacks that arrive throughout the resort, so yes, people flock to Disneyland for Halloween. If you’re one of those people, though, you’re going to need to know about some ride closures that are also happening during that time.
Disney knows how to sell the magic—but sometimes the myths go a little too far.
Over the years, a lot of stories have circulated around the parks. Some are wild fan theories, others are just good old-fashioned misunderstandings, and a few are urban legends that just won’t die. We’re breaking down the most common “Disney lies” fans believed for way too long—and yep, we believed a few of these ourselves.
LEGO is one of those things that’s loved by just about everyone: the young, the old, and everyone in between. First, the sets are always just so much fun, and they let us build something from our favorite Disney movies and TV shows.
Also, there’s just nothing better than that sense of accomplishment when you complete a LEGO build and you see your creation come to life for the first time. AND building LEGO is good to get outside your head for a while, too, when you just want to focus on something fun. Well, if you’re looking for some new LEGO sets to inspire you, Amazon just dropped some prices on some Disney sets.
There are so many fun things to do in EPCOT just as a regular park visitor, but there are also some additional tours you can pay for to upgrade your EPCOT experience, and most are WELL worth it.
For example, you can go BEHIND THE SCENES of Living with the Land with the Behind The Seeds Tour, which will give you a chance to see the EPCOT greenhouses where a lot of Disney World food is grown. One of the most popular tours, though, is DiveQuest, which gives you a chance to go diving in the aquarium in The Seas Pavilion. However, right now, a lot of folks booking that tour are getting notifications that it’s been canceled. BUT it’s 100% for a good reason. Trust us.
