If you’re heading to EPCOT later this month, be forewarned that one of the park’s most popular rides is going to close for a LONG-AWAITED refurbishment.
Who doesn’t love Olaf?
On January 26th, EPCOT’s mega-popular Frozen Ever After attraction is set to close for a comparatively quick refurbishment that is scheduled to make major changes to the attraction’s original animatronics.
This is going to be a HUGE year for change in Disney World, including Magic Kingdom. Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin is getting updated, while Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is getting a MASSIVE makeover. Construction has already started on the new Cars expansion in Frontierland, as well as on Villains Land, which will be going behind Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.

Cinderella Castle will also be changing soon, too: Disney previously announced that it would be getting a brand-new color scheme and that painting would begin soon, as in this month.
In just one month, it’ll be time to officially say goodbye to one of our favorite parts of Animal Kingdom.
Dinosaur
This land began closing in early 2025 to make way for the new Tropical Americas land, but we got to experience our beloved Dinosaur attraction for another year. However, that time has come to an end — this is your reminder that in just ONE month, the rest of DinoLand, U.S.A. will close forever.
Hollywood Studios is going through some major changes! The theme park is adding two new lands and retheming one of its most popular attractions.
Hi Ariel!
Throughout these changes, we’ve seen a lot of construction walls, and some familiar faces even had to move locations. Luckily for us, Ariel is swimming back to her original meet and greet spot!
Disney just dropped one of their most beloved seasonal deals, and fans are going crazy for it as usual!
Blizzard Beach
Right now, Disney is offering their Water Park Season Pass for $89 plus tax (ages 10 and up) and $83 plus tax (ages 3 to 9). These passes offer admission to Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park OR Disney’s Blizzard Beach, as the former will be open through February 14th and then close for refurbishment, while the latter will open on February 15th. One of those new shows is a new Marvel series, Wonder Man, and Marvel just dropped a new trailer that looks like a lot of fun. Even better? Wonder Man will debut THIS MONTH. So if you’ve been needing a Marvel fix, you’ll be able to satisfy it sooner than you thought.

The busiest days during the New Year travel period are upon us, and we have some tips if you are traveling through the Orlando International Airport soon.

The busiest travel days for New Year travel are: January 3rd (196,212 travelers), January 4th (195,960 travelers), and January 2nd (191,324 travelers). If you are heading home in the next three days, be prepared for lots of fellow travelers to be right there with you!
