The 2022 EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays will be starting sooner than you know it!
This year, the Festival will feature lots of food booths (we’ve got the FULL list of booths already!), entertainment, and much more. But just what food dishes will specifically be offered at the booths? Well, Disney has NOT released full menu details just yet, but they have let out a few secrets and we’ve compiled them for you!
Hurricane Ian is expected to make landfall in Florida today, first along the southern part of the west coast. Its current path has the storm moving across Central Florida before leaving the state sometime on Thursday, according to experts.
In response to the storm, Disney World, Universal Orlando, and other Florida theme parks have closed on Wednesday and Thursday. Did you hear that After Hours events are coming BACK to Disney World next year?!
Yep, they’ll be back at both Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios starting in January of 2023. These events are separately ticketed events that let you stay in the Disney World theme parks for 3 hours after the park closes to regular guests. There are usually much lower wait times during these events, which is part of their appeal! So, when are these events taking place and how much will they cost? We’ve got all the details for you!
Hurricane Ian continues to threaten much of Florida — including Disney World.
We’ve been tracking the storm since it was just a tropical depression, but Ian has quickly turned into a powerful system and ultimately went past Cuba as a Category 3 hurricane. A Hurricane Watch, Tropical Storm Warning, and flood advisories have been issued for Disney World, and now it looks like Disney World is officially closing its doors due to Hurricane Ian.
BREAKING NEWS: Disney World, Universal Orlando, SeaWorld, and more local theme parks have announced multi-day closures ahead of Hurricane Ian. Airports in the Orlando area are closing as well. Disney World will close its theme parks and water parks on Wednesday, September 28th, and Thursday, September 29th. Disney Springs will be closed on Wednesday, September 28th. They expect Disney Springs will also be closed on Thursday, September 29th, but more updates on that will be coming soon.
As Hurricane Ian continues on its path toward Florida, Disney World is making preparations ahead of the storm. Cancelation policies have changed for Disney World tickets and vacation packages, certain hotels are going to be closed, and some attractions will shut down as well.

Hurricane Ian is on its way to Florida, and it’s very likely that the storm will have some impacts on Disney World.
A Hurricane Watch is in effect for both Orange County and Osceola County, which is where Disney World is located. This means that hurricane conditions are possible within the next 48 hours. A Tropical Storm Warning remains in effect as well. Disney World has already announced some closures due to the storm, and Orlando airports are closing as well.
