Magic Key Holders, who are the Annual Passholders of Disneyland Resort, can rejoice, because TWO new souvenirs are coming to the park that are exclusive to them. To celebrate Disneyland’s 70th Anniversary and Disney California Adventure’s 25th Anniversary, you won’t want to miss these new popcorn buckets!
A BUNCH of new food just dropped at Disneyland Resort, and of course, we had to check out some of the new items. We are the Disney Food Blog after all; if there is food involved at Disney, we will be there! Disneyland Resort is still celebrating its 70th Anniversary, and some new treats are coming to mark the occasion. Plus, Disney just added some extra new food and drink items, because why not?

Most of the new treats are available as of January 8th, although the new menu items at Flo’s V8 Cafe won’t be available until January 20th (don’t worry, we will be back to give you a full review of those new items, too!). Disney released a foodie guide earlier this month detailing the 91 NEW items coming to Disneyland. We stopped by Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure to try some of the new treats, so you know which ones are must-gets and which ones you should skip.
Rides based on Disney’s animated films have been part of Disney’s theme parks from the very beginning, as attractions based on Peter Pan, Snow White, and Mr. Toad anchored Disneyland’s Fantasyland when the park opened in 1955. Over the last 7 decades, films from across the Disney and Pixar canon have been immortalized at resorts around the world.

That said, to the chagrin of some fans, not every animated classic has gotten the ride treatment. Whether box office results scuttled plans — RIP Atlantis: The Lost Empire-themed Submarine Voyage refurbishment — or a film’s pop culture influence seemed to wane, many entries in the library have seemingly been skipped over. If you’re heading to Disneyland soon, though, make sure you plan for this upcoming Jungle Cruise closure!
For Star Wars fans, Disneyland’s Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is a destination in and of itself. Where else can you take a shot at flying the Millennium Falcon or going head-to-head with The First Order for the Rebellion?
