Hello from Magic Kingdom! We’re wandering around this wonderful world that’s all decked out for Halloween and having a blast!
It doesn’t seem that long ago when we were here last (it wasn’t), but we still have a lot of updates! So let’s get to it!
Disney World is in a constant state of change.
Sometimes, those changes boil down to refurbishments on beloved and long-standing attractions. We’ve seen permits that might point to some upcoming refurbs in Magic Kingdom and now, Disney has announced that TWO Magic Kingdom attractions will be closing for lengthy refurbishments.
Although Disney executives have made the case for Disneyland Resort to reopen soon, and we’ve seen some signs showing that Disneyland is preparing to welcome guests, an official reopening date for the Disneyland Resort theme parks has not yet been set.
Today, we’ve spotted an update that shows we may still have to wait a bit longer to visit the happiest place on earth.
We need to form a calming circle STAT because we’re a little too excited about the latest Starbucks hack we’re bringing you for Halloween time!
Hocus Pocus is a staple when it comes to our spooky season festivities. And, it’s pretty obvious that Disney treasures it (even more than Sarah’s lucky rat tail) since merchandise has popped up all around the parks already. As you get ready to listen to “I Put a Spell on You” on repeat during your next trip to Starbucks, you might want to bring three of your best friends or sistaaahhs to grab THREE Hocus Pocus-themed drinks this Halloween season!
As you may know, EPCOT is set to receive an all-new fireworks show celebrating the power of music — Harmonious.
The show was supposed to initially debut in the spring of 2020 but has seen a delay due to the historic park closures. We haven’t heard a new reopening date, but we’ve been keeping a close eye on EPCOT fireworks’ progress. Now, we have a pretty BIG sign that could be a step in the direction of the return of fireworks in EPCOT and the rest of Disney World.
UPDATE: The Chefs de France hours have now changed to reflect “No Times Available” from now to October 7th. On October 8th and onward, there are listed times. This new date is still not a guarantee that the restaurant will open, but it could be an indication.
Earlier today, Cinderella’s Royal Table surprised guests by reopening a day earlier than previously scheduled.
Could another popular restaurant be preparing to join the ranks of other recently reopened locations in Disney World? Here’s what we know!
Disney World can be an expensive place which is why we keep an eye out for merchandise sales and affordable souvenirs!
One of the least expensive souvenirs you can snag in Disney World is a collectible pressed penny from one of the various penny press machines scattered around the parks. And we’ve noticed that Disney is slowly replacing these machines with upgraded versions!
When we think of iconic eats in EPCOT’s United Kingdom pavilion, Fish and Chips is one of the first menu items that comes to mind!
And apparently we’re not the only ones that appreciate the golden brown, deep-fried deliciousness of this dish. Because not only did we spy some AMAZING Fish and Chips Minnie Ears, but we just found a ton more Fish and Chips merch, too! We’re all about food-related merch at Disney World!
The Triple Decker Garlic Toast Pulled Pork Sandwich wasn’t the only new menu item we found in EPCOT today!
Between the 2020 Taste of EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival and all of the new Halloween snacks around Disney World, there’s been no shortage of awesome eats for us to try lately! But when we saw a new treat on the menu at Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue, we figured we could make room for dessert!
After Disney World reopened, many of its bars remained closed and were unable to serve alcohol to guests, due to a statewide ban of on-premise alcohol consumption at bars. This ban affected any bars that received more than 50% of their gross revenue through alcohol sales.
Recently, though, the state of Florida lifted that ban and allowed bars to reopen at 50% capacity. And we’re starting to see bars at Disney World begin to reopen, too, like the Uzima Springs Pool Bar at Animal Kingdom Lodge, and the Thirsty River Bar, and Dawa Bar at Animal Kingdom.
