pastry chefs are always conceptualizing new cupcakes to wow their guests, and the Disney Parks Blog shared two brand new princess-inspired cupcakes that we just had to show you.
In Landscape of Flavors at the Art of Animation Resort, guests can now pick up the Mermaid Tail Cupcake. This is a vanilla cupcake filled with pineapple compote and topped with a swirl of coconut buttercream. Garnishes include a glitter-dusted white chocolate mermaid tail (a la Ariel, of course!), crispy pearls, and graham cracker crumbs.

Oh, World Premiere Food Court at All-Star Movies, you know our favorites! The Food Court has premiered a Chocolate Covered Strawberry Milkshake just in time for Valentine’s Day!

And thanks to our instagram pal @rgrrabbit1 we’ve got some great shots to share with you along with a quick review! The new shake finds happy medium between a “standard” shake in a cup and those crazy-over-the-top shakes.
When visiting Disneyland or Walt Disney World theme parks, you will notice see park-specific shopping bags for sale such as the ones in Disneyland Resort merchandise locations or those in Disney World’s Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom.

While each park at this time has its own design, the Disney World Resort hotels are currently selling Walt Disney World bags (with all four parks represented in the design) as opposed to specific hotel designs. Guests staying at the All Star Resorts — Sports, Movies, and Music — should definitely make a point to peruse the bakery cases in the Resort food courts. Themed character cupcakes of late have included the Cheshire Cat Cupcake at All Star Music’s Intermission Food Court. And now we’re back at the very same spot to try this month’s Merida Cupcake!

We’ve been spotting purple cupcakes and gelato shakes in the latest Disney Minnie Mouse Ears hue of Potion Purple (also called Purple Potion), and we had a feeling there were more on the way… and starting today in Walt Disney World — unless otherwise noted — and January 11th in Disneyland, that is indeed the case! If you’re looking to enjoy your vacation without breaking the bank, think about Disney World’s Value Resorts. Want to avoid the noise and crowds often associated with these massive resorts? Request a room far from the main building and pools — even on the backside of a building where you’re less likely to have noise from passersby.

But if you and your crew prefer to live the sweet life, consider booking a Deluxe Resort room — which is often a decent deal when you split it 2, 3, 0r 4 ways! These rooms offer more space and higher-end finishes. Plus some of the Deluxe Resorts have added perks — like great dining options and entertainment.
It’s the holiday season, so what better time to stuff yourself with all of the fun sweets and treats available at Walt Disney World?
