This past week has been a foodie trip around the reopened Disney Vacation Club Resorts! Here’s some important info for guests with an upcoming reservation at Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort!
Disney’s Swan and Dolphin Resort
Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom preparing to reopen on July 11th, followed by Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios on July 15th. But even though the parks are getting ready to welcome back guests, the Swan and Dolphin Resort will remain closed, and will relocate guests with existing reservations!
The reopening isn’t the only big news out of Disney World. As you may have heard, the NBA is playing the rest of their season in Disney World!

This is a pretty unique situation! 22 teams are all headed to Disney World for the playoffs and that means a LOT of NBA players, coaches, and crews will be accommodated on Disney property. The Disney Resorts have started to re-open around the Disney World property, and we’ve been taking you with us to check them all out.
Grand Floridian Resort
While we’ve already given you a look at dining at the Grand Floridian Cafe, today we noticed some new construction at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort!
Select Disney World Resort hotels reopened on June 22nd. Currently, buses are the only form of Disney transportation available for guests to navigate around property.
Monorail
But, even though the Monorail isn’t yet available for guest transportation, it has been spotted out and about near Magic Kingdom — with some new additions! Social distancing barriers have been added inside the Monorail.
