In the last few months, we’ve seen Disneyland pins, spooktacular items, and more made available through these events. And Disney has now announced that another shopping event is coming soon!
Many Disney fans are also animal lovers, and Disney totally understands this — so many of their movies feature cute animals!
That means we get a lot of great Disney merchandise featuring animals, too, including some devoted to Disney cats and Disney dogs. But, we were recently surprised when we spotted some animal friends that aren’t so common on merch at Disney World!

But with us literally having the word “food” in our name, that’s what we’re all about!! So when we spotted a returning holiday snack at Downtown Disney at Disneyland Resort, we went for it!
Although the Disneyland Resort Backlot Premiere Shop has opened and Buena Vista Street is set to reopen soon for shopping and dining, Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park currently remain closed under California’s theme park reopening guidelines.
Today, we received an update as to whether there has been any change in the tier status of Orange County, where Disneyland Resort is located, which would move the parks closer to an eventual reopening.

Recently the ones in Disney World were hit with a HUGE price increase. So, we thought that the masks in Disneyland would see a similar price jump, but that’s not at all what we found when we visited today.
A few weeks ago, the state of California released its theme park reopening guidelines, and according to people close to Disneyland, the guidelines will keep Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure “shuttered for the foreseeable future.”
EXCEPT…the parks aren’t going to stay totally, completely 100% closed. Not too long ago, Disney announced that Buena Vista Street inside Disney California Adventure will open up for dining and shopping. So, what does this actually mean for Disneyland??
Recently, California’s theme park reopening guidelines were released, but they only allow large theme parks, like Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park, to reopen if the county they are located in reaches the lowest of California’s tiers, Tier 4.
Several leaders have expressed their frustration over the current reopening guidelines, including Anaheim Mayor Harry Sidhu. And now, a number of California mayors have reached out to Governor Gavin Newsom to ask him to reconsider the criteria for theme park reopenings.
