The sixth ship in Disney’s fleet — the Disney Treasure — sets sail in December 2024, and two more ships — the Disney Destiny and Disney Adventure will start cruising in 2025. Disney has said these ships will double its worldwide capacity.

We visit Disney World every day and when we see something new we’re super excited to share it! From new construction details to the return of a tasty treat, something new is happening at Disney World all the time. Recently, we saw the rollout of a new transportation design, and Pixar fans, especially, should get a kick out of it!

Recently, Disney announced the opening date for one of the FINAL parts of the EPCOT Transformation. Mark your calendars! CommuniCore Hall and CommuniCore Plaza will open on June 10th, 2024 in EPCOT!

We’ve been keeping up with the latest updates and have seen quite a few recently! The Mickey & Friends meet and greet sign was installed and we even caught Disney testing some of the lighting outside. It looks like progress is ramping up because another crucial detail has been added ahead of the opening!

Here at DFB, we LOVE McDonald’s. It’s a super quick and consistent place to grab a bite to eat while you’re at Disney World (or at home), and sometimes that is just what you need after a few days of having adventurous meals. We’re also a huge fan of their Happy Meal toys, because, let’s be real — they’re too cute (or… interesting) to not want to pay attention to. We’re in the heat of Spring Break season in Disney World, and the parks are HOPPING!

Some of the busiest times to visit Disney World are the weeks before and after Easter, and this year is no different. We’ve seen incredibly high wait times, limited availability with Disney Park Passes, and very high prices for Genie+. That trend continues on the morning of Tuesday, April 2nd!
