Knott’s Berry Farm — the iconic Southern California theme park that opened 104 years ago — is introducing a new program (as well as enforcing some rules they technically already had) to curb those who try to cut in line on the park’s most popular attractions.
If there’s macaroni and cheese on the menu, it’ll eventually be on my plate and therefore in my belly. It’s just a fact.
Macaroni and Cheese
Disney World is filled with all sorts of great mac and cheese dishes. There’s the heaping cup of cheesy goodness that you can get at Gasparilla Island Grill at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort, Mac and Cheese Bites at Wine Bar George in Disney Springs, and more. However, there’s one thing that Disney World DOESN’T do with mac and cheese that they totally SHOULD.
The first words that visitors to Disney World’s main EPCOT web page read are “Celebrate the Stories That Connect People and Cultures Around the World.” The second sentence? “Festival Fun Awaits You Today.”

While the main park icon at EPCOT is Spaceship Earth (aka the EPCOT “ball”), it could just as well be a festival booth. The ubiquitous booths that serve small plates and drinks during four festivals that cover the majority of days each year are a fun addition for most park goers — but they’re also the secret weapon Disney World is using to fill the park with returning visitors.

For many of us, we probably think of Disney right away! But, which park reigns supreme? Is it Disneyland since it’s the OG, EPCOT since you get to travel around the world, or maybe Animal Kingdom because of all those awesome animals (and Expedition Everest, of course). Disneyland has been closed for over six months due to the coronavirus pandemic, and there’s still no reopening date or plan.

And there’s been mounting pressure from Disney officials, California legislators, trade associations, and coalition of Anaheim, Buena Park and Garden Grove city leaders and the Anaheim Chamber of Commerce for Governor Newsom to issue theme park reopening guidelines that these locations need to properly reopen.
There has been a lot of news surrounding theme parks reopening around the world.

While Shanghai Disneyland has reopened with some new procedures, Disney World and Disneyland are considering changes they could make before they open their gates to the public. However, theme parks everywhere are having to consider if they will even reopen at all in 2020.
We’ve been missing riding our favorite attractions and seeing our favorite shows at theme parks around the world (don’t mind us, we’ll just be daydreaming about Splash Mountain over here).

Shanghai Disneyland is planning to reopen and Disney World and Disneyland have stated they are looking into the possibility of virtual queues, capacity limits, and increased health and safety protocols during a phased reopening. And we are already seeing theme parks in the U.S. trend towards phased re-openings starting with their restaurants!
