A brand new area is coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios: get ready to step into The Walt Disney Studios when it opens in 2026!

In July 2025, Disney announced that the area currently known as Animation Courtyard will be reimagined into The Walt Disney Studios as a “special nod to the legendary Walt Disney Studios Lot” in Burbank, California. We just learned some exciting new details about this spot, so let’s get into it!
So a LOT is happening in Disney World right now, especially in Magic Kingdom.

Magic Kingdom is set to get a new land PLUS a huge expansion. However, some rides are also getting major upgrades. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad closed earlier this year to get a bit of a makeover, including some “new magic” Disney has mentioned, although we didn’t have any details as to what that meant. Well, guess what? Disney has finally revealed what it has in store for Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.

If you’re anything like me, you have a friend or friends who will tell you all about an item. They will act like that find hung the moon and beg you to try it out. For whatever reason, you don’t listen. Well, that was me with Glamnetic Nails. Everyone on the DFB team would talk about them and how amazing they were.
