Now that Epic Universe has been open for a few months, I think it’s about time to tell y’all some NEW tips, tricks, and observations that we’ve picked up during our most recent visit.

WELCOME to Epic Universe!
McDonald’s is known to throw out some great collaborations, and this time is no different. It’s no secret that when McDonald’s sets out to deliver a collaboration, they do it right, usually with returning fan favorite menu items and some nostalgic Happy Meals. Now, though, they’ve recently teamed up with another popular brand to help you get off on a Universal vacation.
You guys, it’s a seriously good year for Universal Orlando Resort.
Celestial Park in Epic Universe
Back in May, the resort opened up a brand-new theme park, Universal Epic Universe. The new park has been received fairly well with its popular IPs, unique rides, and shockingly delicious theme park food. But did you know Epic Universe has several offerings that are award-worthy? Yep, the theme park was recognized multiple times by the Golden Ticket Awards.
Universal Orlando is hopping this fall. Not only is Epic Universe open for its first fall season at Universal, but Halloween Horror Nights are happening on select evenings at Universal Studios Florida (and we’ve been, so you can check out our coverage here).
Hard Rock Hotel
Well, that’s not the only thing going on at Universal Orlando this fall. Universal Orlando hotels are also bringing some new entertainment for guests, including live concerts by some pretty big musical talents.

Volcano Bay at Universal Orlando
Well, if you are visiting Universal Orlando soon, you might also be staying in a Universal Orlando hotel. As you may know, staying in a Universal Orlando hotel scores you certain perks, with one of the best being early admission to the theme parks, including Universal’s water park, Volcano Bay. Well, the Early Park Admission perk at Volcano Bay recently changed.

Phew! When it comes to Universal theme park news, there’s so much to talk about. Universal just kicked off its Halloween Horror Nights season with a stacked lineup of haunted houses, food, drinks, and new entertainment. We just got done saying goodbye to a classic coaster. But while we’re celebrating all of the changes happening in Universal Orlando, there’s even more to be excited about right now. Universal Kids Resort in Texas is finally starting to take shape, and we’re giving you an updated look to see how far construction has already come for Universal’s newest park.
Are you happy to be in Paris? Well, it might not be the real Paris, but stepping through the portal to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Ministry of Magic at Epic Universe sure does make us feel like we are.
Le Gobelet Noir
We headed to Le Gobelet Noir to try some dishes and see if it’s worth the visit. This quick service spot is filled with European cuisine, including French, German, and Hungarian, and we’re ready to dive in and live our Harry Potter dreams.
It is Halloween time in Orlando, and Disney World has already kicked off its festivities with Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. This is a family-friendly event, which, as the name suggests, is really not that scary. But if you are looking for a more frightening time, then you may need to plan a trip to Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando Resort this year!

Halloween Horror Nights, or HHN, is on the other side of the spectrum of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, as it is definitely VERY scary. If you’ve never been to one of these events before, you may be in for a surprise if you don’t know what you’re getting into. But that’s why we’re here! If you’re heading to the event this year, here’s everything you need to know so you’re not caught off guard!
So Epic Universe has been open for a little while now, and we’ve had a chance to try all of the amazing restaurants you’ll find throughout its five lands.
However, there are still some things we HAVEN’T tried, and well, if you’ve been following us for a while, we’re completionists — we want to eat and drink EVERYTHING on the menu. So we recently returned to Burning Blade Tavern in Dark Universe to grab some new-to-us food and drinks. So what did we think? Well, we’ll tell you!
Okay, we’re not sure what Disney was doing this year when it planned its schedule, but we’ve been running ourselves ragged trying to keep up with everything. We do it for YOU, dear Disney friends!
The Beak and Barrel
So we’ve already been to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in Disney World and Oogie Boogie Bash in Disneyland, but Disney’s busy season is JUST getting started. That’s because a lot of things are about to kick off…ALL ON THE SAME WEEKEND, which just also happens to be Labor Day Weekend. What were you thinking, Disney? Anyway, this is why August 29th is a big day for all of us!
