We’ve got the BEST DISNEY WORLD SNACKS right here for ya, today on DFB Guide!
Santa Claus is coming to town! Even though Santa Claus is hard at work at the North Pole preparing for the holiday season, he is taking time out of his busy schedule to meet guests at Disney World!
Not only has Disney announced that you can find him at the four theme parks, but you can also meet him at Disney Springs — meaning NO theme park ticket required and FREE parking! However, you need to know a few things if you are hoping to meet Santa at Disney Springs!
Trying to plan a Disney World trip during the holiday season can be as difficult as trying to wrangle eels into a bucket — but it doesn’t have to be! And, if you’re heading to Disney World during Christmas this year, we’ve got great news because park hours have just been released for the season.
Between Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom, Jollywood Nights at Hollywood Studios, the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, and so much more, now is a great time to experience the holidays at Disney World. Let’s get into all the details!
Buckle up if you’re heading to Walt Disney World in November. From seasonal events to massive attraction changes, the month is set to be a game-changer for the “Most Magical Place on Earth.” Oh, and here’s the first thing you need to know — it’s Christmas in Disney World! Yes, we know you haven’t even bought your Thanksgiving turkey yet, but if you’re headed to Disney World, be prepared for red and green wreaths on Main Street, U.S.A. and the giant tree in your hotel lobby (at least by the middle of the month).
I’ve been covering Disney World for 7+ years, and I can remember few years with quite a much change as 2025. There have been construction announcements, permanent closures, and the transformation of classic rides — all of which will continue in November.
Booking a Disney World hotel can be complex. From choosing the right dates to visit to booking Lightning Lanes and dining reservations, there’s a lot to remember. Heck, I’ve been doing it for 30+ years, and I even need to double and triple check to make sure I’ve taken care of everything. And then there’s the question of discounts…
See, while the lowest prices are almost always going to be at Disney World’s Value resorts while the Deluxe hotel stays will cost you the most (and Moderate resorts are in the middle), but Disney often has deals and discounts that can help you save. In fact, they have them so often that we’re telling you to NEVER book your hotel for full price.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios is a massive state of transition, headlined by a BRAND NEW Monsters, Inc. that’s going to recreate Monstropolis in all its terrifying glory. However, something about the land has us terrified… and not in the way Mike and Sully would want us to be.
The land is going to be headlined by a long-awaited suspended coaster ride based on the doors scene in the movie! We’ve only wanted that ride FOREVER, and it’s going to be the FIRST suspended coaster in Disney history, so we should be ecstatic! However, the more we think about it, the more we’re worried about that ride. We’ll tell you why.
Did you run the Wine and Dine Half Marathon this weekend? If you did participate in this runDisney event and have a medal, you should show it off, right? Well, we bet you’re probably pretty hungry after all that running.
If you’re looking for a place to eat, we may have the spot JUST for you. So keep that medal around your neck and head on over to Disney Springs, where you can get a discount at The Polite Pig.
Okay, so the Halloween season is beginning to wind down in Disney World and will officially be over SOON. What does that mean? It means Disney World menus are changing. Goodbye, pumpkin. Hello, peppermint!
So, while we’re already thinking ahead to all the wonderful holiday treats we’ll soon get to try, we’re keeping ourselves busy by eating some new foods at some old fave restaurants, indulging in a few more pumpkin treats, and starting to count down the days until we can eat ALL the food and drink ALL the drinks at Jollywood Nights. We’ve also been keeping an eye on Disney World restaurant menus, so let’s see what’s changed this week. Warning: Two popular Disney Springs restaurants, The BOATHOUSE and Paddlefish, have both removed and added new menu items this week (more on that in a bit). Let’s take a look!
If you’re looking for some great food in Disney Springs, well, you have a LOT of choices…like a LOT. If you’re looking for good barbecue, though, look no further than The Polite Pig, which is the kind of restaurant where you can live out a lot of your carnivore dreams. However, you may be wondering about the Chef’s Specials there…are they worth ordering?
Well, we visited The Polite Pig recently to check out this month’s Chef’s Special, and we’re here to give you our honest review. So let’s dive into some food!
