Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disney’s Hollywood Studios is home to interactive experiences that allow you to build your own droid or create your own lightsaber.
Well, Disney just upped the ante with a NEW way to customize your lightsaber and holocrons! The kyber crystal is the force behind any lightsaber and holocron. At Galaxy’s Edge, you can choose the color of your kyber crystal to fit your mood and display what side of the force you represent. Are you on the Dark Side or a Jedi fighting with the Resistance? You can represent your choice with kyber crystals. The crystals customize your lightsaber AND allow you to interact with a holocron!
Nighttime entertainment has been pretty much nonexistent in a reopened Disney World.
With the suspension of fireworks and limited park hours, we’ve been wondering when we’ll see any kind of nighttime show in the parks again. Of course, projections ARE confirmed for the 2020 Christmas season and it seems like Disney World is getting ready!
We’ve been getting ready for the holidays with all kinds of mugs, pins, and more from Disney World.
Oh, and we got our own personal SNOAP machine! But, more snoap is on the way. It looks like Disney is getting Disney Springs ready for even more holiday fun as we saw some SNOAP machines are starting to be installed!
As you’ve probably heard, Hollywood Studios has been pretty high-demand lately.
This is largely due to the popularity of Rise of the Resistance in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. To ride this attraction, you have to nab a spot in the Virtual Queue at either 10AM or 2PM, and it can get tricky.
Want to eat an awesome meal from a Disney World table service restaurant, but want the convenience of enjoying it in your own hotel room (or your home) in your pajamas while watching Disney+? You’ll definitely want to check out the Table Service To Go feature on My Disney Experience, which allows you to order food to go from some of your favorite Disney table service restaurants.
We’ve already enjoyed Bread Service from Sanaa to go, and have seen lots of other restaurants added to this feature. Recently, we spotted another one that has been added to the list!
This year, Disney announced the new Minnie Mouse: The Main Attraction collections. A new collection is released almost every month and is based on a Disney attraction. To say these have been a huge hit is an understatement and since these collections aren’t always released in the parks, it’s a pretty big deal when they are.
Today, the Minnie Mouse: The Main Attraction Haunted Mansion collection was released at Sir Mickey’s in Magic Kingdom. It was released first to Annual Passholders this morning before being released to all Disney World guests and it took us FOUR HOURS to get to the store. No, we’re not kidding.
So now, the fruits of our looooooong wait: Let’s see what the collection looks like in person (since we’ve already seen it a few times online), shall we?!
We are always on the lookout for new menu items at Disney World, and when we come across them, we do the hard work of trying everything so you don’t have to!
And we just noticed some new additions to the menu at Rosie’s All-American Cafe at Hollywood Studios, including a brand new vegan option!
A few months ago, Disney announced layoffs in the Parks, Experiences and Products division of the company that would be affecting approximately 28,000 Cast Members.
We recently learned that many performers at some of Disney World’s biggest shows and attractions have been laid off. Now, Actors’ Equity Association, which represents many of these incredible actors and singers, has issued a statement regarding these layoffs.
We’ve seen Gingerbread Minnie Ears, Snowflake Balloon Ears, Emerald Ears, Wishes Come True Blue Ears, and SO MANY other new Minnie ears released lately!
We basically have enough Minnie and Mickey ears to fill up a whole house. But, now we found another NEW set of Minnie Ears that we absolutely need to truly live out all of our dreams of being royalty!
