If you’re planning a trip to Disney World, it’s important to choose your hotel carefully.
Several of the Disney World Resorts are home to convention centers, which means they can see heavy crowds whenever a conference, competition, or event is being held there. This seems to be a particularly strong problem with the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin, Disney’s Contemporary Resort, and Coronado Springs Resort. And now, there’s another BIG event slated for Coronado Springs in 2026.
Traffic at Disney World can turn a magical vacation into a pretty stressful start.
Between runDisney events, cheerleading competitions, and holiday weekends, there are some days when driving to the resort is going to feel way less convenient than usual. That does not mean you have to stay home, but it does mean you’ll want to plan ahead if you’re bringing your car to the Most Magical Place on Earth. Let’s go through the 8 dates in 2026 when you may want to avoid driving to Disney World.
Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is probably one of the most nostalgic areas in all of Disney World for us Millennials. You’re shrunk down and everything around you feels HUGE. It’s literally a ’90s kids’ dream come true.
There are three rides in Toy Story Land, and if you’re the competitive type (like me), then you’ve probably challenged your entire family for the high score on the ride Toy Story Mania. Well, next time you’re headed that way, remember these five secrets to WIN Toy Story Mania and destroy everyone else in your group!
2025 has seen seveal permanent closures come to Walt Disney World.
Some of most upsetting to some Disney fans came in July, when an iconic, day one portion of the Magic Kingdom closed to make way for the upcoming Cars-themed Piston Peak sub-land coming to Frontierland.

If you’re traveling to Disney World this holiday season, there are a few problems you need to be prepared to tackle.
This is one of the busiest times of the year for people to visit the parks, and that can have a MAJOR impact on how smoothly your trip goes. It’s my job to eat my way around Disney World, and I recently tackled the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival!
Here at DFB, we’re serious about Disney World snacks and restaurants (it’s in our name, after all). But recently, during a visit to Hollywood Studios, we tried a DIFFERENT strategy. And if you’re a fan of character meets, Star Wars, or even just a leisurely morning…it might be the plan that’s perfect for you!
