Is it strange to obsess over a brand-new Buzz Lightyear toy? There’s no way we’re the only ones, right?! Well, even if we are, we won’t be after you check this out. Disney just released a new Buzz Lightyear toy that can LITERALLY fly…and I already know it’s going to make a dent in every single wall of my living room.
With the release of Moana 2 in 2024 and the live-action Moana this week, it’s no surprise that we received news of another movie in this franchise in the works.

The LEGO Festival runs from July 20th to August 16th, 2026, and features five interactive zones: Music, Creative, and Chill-Out Zones are returning, alongside the brand-new Play Zone featuring LEGO Pokémon and the LEGO F1 Thrill Zone. Whether you like Formula 1 or Pokémon, there’s an upcoming LEGOLAND event calling your name!

I wasn’t expecting one of my favorite parts of staying at Dollywood’s Heartsong Lodge & Resort to have absolutely nothing to do with the pool, the food, or even the location. But after spending a few nights there, I came home wondering one thing: why doesn’t every Disney World hotel have this?!
To many folks, Southwest Airlines has certainly not done itself any favors over the past few years with some of the controversial business moves the airline has made. A LOT is going on in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and it’s all pretty exciting stuff! Not only did The Muppets take over Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster (and we are LOVING it), but Animation Courtyard is getting a brand new look that will reimagine it into The Walt Disney Studios — and even part of it is now open (and it’s EPIC).

Well, another big happening is that Disney World is building a new Monsters, Inc. land called Monstropolis (appropriately enough) that will include a roller coaster based on the doors scene in the first movie (y’all, we are STOKED), as well as some kind of theatrical show in a building known as the Glob Theater. Well, Disney just filed a permit for the Glob Theater location, showing that this project is moving right along.
It’s no secret that we’re all about food here at Disney Food Blog, but that love extends well beyond Disney World restaurants.
