It’s never been a better time to be a Star Wars fan. Not only do we have Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disney World and Disneyland to live out our favorite dreams from a galaxy far, far away, but we also have shows to look forward to on Disney+, including a second season of Ahsoka, upcoming movies, and SO much new merchandise.

Speaking of merchandise, we also have the release of The Mandalorian and Grogu to look forward to on May 22nd, and Disney is about to drop a ton of new merchandise to celebrate the release of the film. We are ready! So let’s take a look at every new Star Wars souvenir you’ll soon be able to grab. Oh, and if you’ve ever wanted a Grogu Furby…well, it’s becoming a reality!
A new permit filed by Walt Disney World Resort hints that something NEW could be coming to Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Construction at the Contemporary Resort has been ongoing since September 2024, and we recently spotted a new permit that was filed.

The refurbishment at Disney’s Contemporary Resort is expected to continue through late 2027, though construction has already been extended several times. Initially, the refurbishment was expected to be done in summer 2025, then July 2026, and now it has been extended through late 2027.
Which hotel you stay at during a Disney World vacation always comes down to personal choice, but there are a few hotels we need to warn you about.

We LOVE the Disney World hotels. The theming, perks, proximity to the parks, and fantastic amenities keep us coming back for more. With all that said, 2026 is shaping up to be a year where you’re going to want to be very picky about where you stay. Not all Disney World hotels are created equal, and some of these resorts may disappoint you during your next stay…
If you were planning on heading to a Disney World water park, you need to know about this important update! Starting today, February 15th, Blizzard Beach has officially reopened. However, Typhoon Lagoon is now temporarily unavailable. You can still soak up some sun and enjoy a day in the water, but you will need to head to Blizzard Beach instead of Typhoon Lagoon.

However, if you are a Typhoon Lagoon lover, you need to mark your calendar for May 12th, 2026. Typhoon Lagoon may currently be closed for refurbishment, but it will reopen on May 12th and remain open for the summer. The best part? BOTH Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach will be open for the summer.
EPCOT offers flavors from around the world for you to dine on while visiting. While some are very popular, there might be a few you’re passing right by, and trust us, you’re missing out!
