Disney’s Contemporary Resort
California Grill is located at the top of Disney’s Contemporary Resort. This high-end restaurant is known for great food and even better views. Before Disney World began celebrating its 50th anniversary back in October 2021, the Grill had an a la carte menu. Once the big anniversary event began, that menu was swapped out for a special prix fixe menu to celebrate the occasion. There’s a LOT going on in Disney World this week! A restaurant has reopened, another one saw some major menu changes, TWO fireworks shows are ending and being replaced, and that’s just before Tuesday.

Well, the 50th anniversary has officially over in Disney World, making way for more 100th anniversary things throughout the resort.
100th Anniversary merchandise in Disney World
We’ve already seen a lot of 100th anniversary merchandise at Disney World, you can now get popcorn in a 100th anniversary container, and 100th anniversary pressed pennies can be found throughout the parks. Now, though, a resort-specific souvenir has arrived dedicated to 100 years of wonder.

While we were walking around Hollywood Studios today, we noticed some new balloons. When we looked even closer, we noticed that they were new 100th Anniversary balloons!

The 50th anniversary JUST ended, but EVERYTHING seems different now. Park maps have changed, a store got a huge update, and Magician Mickey has made a big comeback. Something else has ALSO made a comeback and we’re checking it out!

This month has obviously brought a lot of NEW things. The 50th anniversary has ended in Disney World and we’ve seen a LOT of change EVERYWHERE in the parks. But at Disney Springs, we look forward to a new month because it means a new limited edition cookie flavor at Gideon’s Bakehouse, and this month is bringing back a favorite of ours!
