In 2025, there will be several rides that are seeing a refurbishment this year at Magic Kingdom. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is currently receiving an overhaul and is scheduled to reopen in 2026. Tickets for the 2025 Destination D23 event at Disney World go on sale on April 14th at 10 AM PST (1 PM EST). The event, titled Destination D23: A Journey Around the Worlds of Disney, will take place from Friday, August 29th, through Sunday, August 31st, at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. Here’s what you need to know ahead of this important event.
