It’s November 6th, and you know what that means… it’s OFFICIALLY Christmas at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
While we’ve already seen some holiday decorations at this park, we LOVE the full-on old-school holiday charm at Hollywood Studios during the Christmas season!
Holiday Rice Krispie Treat? Check! Festive Cupcake? Done! Gingerbread cookies? Delish! It’s not even December yet, but we are already making our list of ALL the holiday treats around Disney World and checking it twice to make sure we try all the tasty snacks!
A few days ago, we shared a whole list of festive treats that would be coming soon to the parks, and now we finally got to try a NEW cupcake with a surprise inside that JUST arrived in Magic Kingdom!
The time has come, folks! It’s officially Christmas in Disney World. And while it’s totally fun to celebrate with loads of holiday decor and merchandise…we prefer to celebrate with snacks, popcorn buckets, and sippers!! Sorry, but Disney holiday food just hits different.
And the first holiday sipper of the season has arrived!! Whooo!
Halloween may have just happened a few days ago and Thanksgiving is around the corner, but it’s the beginning of November which (in Disney World) means the holiday season has begun!
So hoop-de-doo and dickory dock, we’re making our way around Disney’s Animal Kingdom for a wild, festive adventure! We’ve already spotted some animal lanterns and beautiful decorations around the Discovery Island area, the holiday Starbucks mug, and TONS of adorable merchandise we’ve totally added to our Christmas list. The temperature has started to drop, the fuzzy sweaters are out, and Christmas has started to sweep its way across Disney World!
While the parks will be in a full holiday swing from November 6th through December 30th, entertainment and experiences in the parks and resorts are seeing some MAJOR differences this Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s.

On a recent trip to Animal Kingdom, we noticed that the holiday decor had already started to arrive. And now, the gorgeous lanterns and animal decorations have received even more company as the park continues to get in the holiday spirit!
It’s beginning to look a lot like the holidays around Disney World. We’re already seeing TONS of holiday merchandise pop up in shops all over the resort.
And we’ve already seen the first of the holiday decorations go up at Hollywood Studios, but guess what? There are EVEN MORE holiday decorations at Studios now!
Is it still spooky season? Are we just skipping Thanksgiving this year? Is Christmas starting right now? It’s 2020, so basically anything goes at this point.
If you thought this bakery case was confused as to what holiday it is, just wait until you see the “holiday” drink we found in Disney World. It’s a “holiday” drink for sure, the problem is it just can’t decide which holiday it’s celebrating!
No matter how many times we visit Disney World and its hotels, it seems there’s always something new to eat, buy, or just check out!
