Disney World is always changing, growing, and evolving into something else, and that means there is almost always some kind of construction going on.

We’re still following the progress of the upcoming Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana attraction at EPCOT, as well as keeping an eye on when Splash Mountain in Magic Kingdom will close for its retheming. We’ve also been following along with the progress of the new DVC villas coming to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, and now we’ve got some photos to share with you as part of the latest update. Let’s take a few minutes and see what this area looks like now.

The LATEST Construction Update From Roundup Rodeo BBQ Coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

Are you ready for the rootinest, tootinest BBQ in Disney World?!

Well, we definitely are. It was previously announced that Roundup Rodeo BBQ in Toy Story Land would open in 2022, bringing play sets, rodeo fun, and good ol’ BBQ with it. But with an opening date missing from this year’s D23 Expo announcements, can we really expect to see the restaurant open before the year ends? We can only hope so. UPDATES Made to Construction at EPCOT’s ‘Moana’ Attraction

Things are changing at Disney World, and that’s starting with a few major construction projects happening currently.

We’ve got the TRON coaster construction in progress at Magic Kingdom, and additions being made to the Polynesian Village Resort, as well as new restaurants coming to the BoardWalk and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. But perhaps the biggest undertaking of them all is the transformation of EPCOT, and today we’re taking a closer look at the construction progress over there — and more specifically, the progress on Journey of Water — Inspired by Moana.

An Updated Look at Fantasmic! Construction in Disney World

Slowly, but surely, many experiences have returned to the Disney parks. Nighttime shows like the Main Street Electrical Parade, Disneyland Forever, and World of Color have returned to Disneyland Resort, and things like the Harmony Barber Shop, the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, and the popular Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue are preparing to open soon.
